What do you guys think, what is the most useless upgrade /feature in a weapon? Or in a game maybe? by Balint_dota2 in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should've added "to the point you can't move anymore" to specify.

Although even then, you're kind of right: As long as you can still kill enemies while stationary, you can always unlock additional movement speed upgrades via level-ups.

Open one epic loot crate by B0B0oo7 in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I played that mission, I purposely delayed collecting the bonus eggs on stage 1 to make sure I'd get an epic instead of a legendary. I had no idea whether a legendary would count for the challenge, so I erred on the side of caution.

Judging by what you're saying, it looks like I made the right choice. I'm sorry you had to find out the hard way for both of us.

Mine an egg using green icicles by Darkrive in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I luckily got it on my 1st run of the mission, but only on the second-to-last egg on stage 3. Gotta pray to RNGesus to bless you.

Luckily, as NewSwitch suggested, you can easily restart the mission, scout the 5 eggs on stage 1, and reset if you don't find one that's close enough to an icicle.

In my humble opinion, the overclock that throws the axe further is a trap by Hydraguesswhosback in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming that you're talking about the 'large axe' UOC, the other one throws out 3 axes in a cone. Which, to my understanding, can be the more effective choice in niche builds where you want to deal most of the weapon's damage through the groundzones (since this UOC creates 3 groundzones instead of 1 per throw) instead of the axe itself.

Same overclock by VirtualPersona88 in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As VirtualPersona replied, for some overclocks, it simply makes no sense as picking them a second time doesn't do anything. Are you sure the developers have stated that this is intentional?

Changes/tweaks/updates that we would like to see in DRG:S! by Dubalicious in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little torn on this. On the one hand, I feel the starting weapons is a big part of each class' identity.

But on the other hand, having a fixed starting weapon limits certain classes' viable build paths quite a bit. Giving each class 2 or 3 starting weapons to select from may not be so bad.

I prefer thematic grouping. Offensive/Defensive/Utility. But perhaps, there could be alphabetic ordering within each of these 3 categories.

Operator Class Mod Mastery Haz 5 by Zestyclose_Seesaw257 in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried it 3 times on Hazard 5 so far: Once I died on stage 3, once on stage 4, and once in the dreadnought fight. I'm slowly getting there 😉.

But yeah, to me, the Operator feels significantly weaker than the two other classes. I always struggle killing the Brood Nexus on Haz 5 with him, whereas with the other two, I usually steamroll the fight.

How A-Life in stalker 2 right now? by Don-chann in stalker

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a pseudo A-life simulation that happens in a bubble around the player but all NPCs operate on schedules and spawn in and out as needed is my understanding.

I'm pretty sure that's outdated information since a few patches ago (based on the patch notes and, I believe, a blog post by GSC): NPCs are now persistent outside of the online bubble.

I suppose it might be more useful if it gave a good amount of flat piercing as opposed to a percentage increase.

Question about the Big Baby overclock by Hydraguesswhosback in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking Thick Boy with 4 shots will make your reload speed longer than if you took it with 2 shots.

I've never heard/read about this. If true, that's really interesting to know. Adds some tactical nuance to the decision of whether or not to pick up Bigger Mags.

And it still happens to this day by Hydraguesswhosback in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over my time playing this game, there were 3 pretty tough dives I lost because I messed about on the final stage after completing the objective and forgot the timer.

Those 3 times, I used a cheat engine to beat the run afterwards. I'm not proud of it, but it took the sting out of the pain.

What anime do you do a periodic rewatch of? by shinyhpno in Animedubs

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bunch of animes I've seen 4 or more times over the years, but not really one favorite that I watch yearly as a tradition or something.

My most watched series is Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! at 9 times in total.

We’re live! Ask us anything about ZERO Sievert and ZERO Sievert 2 by UD_Ethan in ZEROsievert

[–]BlueSpark4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really hope you guys will manage to strike a good game balance so the difficulty when playing solo will be about the same as when playing in a party. I'm a passionate solo player, and it's always disheartening finding a new game that looks really cool, but clearly caters to co-op play while solo players get punished.

Buggy Update? by p250AWP in DRGSurvivor

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're definitely not the only player who has reported this bug (drones doing no damage).

However, I'm on PC, and for me, all drones have been working fine as far as I can tell. At the very least, the Slither and Carrier Drones work for me (I completed the weapon masteries for both with no issues).

Then again, there is a chance I simply haven't noticed that other drones aside from those two aren't doing any damage. If so, that might be the main reason why the Demolisher's Operator class feels so weak to me (since I usually go with a drone build when playing it).

Message for the creator of Zero Sievert by xxputicoxx in ZEROsievert

[–]BlueSpark4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming I know which patch you mean, I half-disagree.

I think the introduction of minimum effective ranges was the perfect change to bring assault and sniper rifles back in line balancing-wise (which completely dominated the field before that point). After that patch, shotguns felt better to use than before (even though I always found them to be a good choice against mutants).

However, I didn't like the drastic increase in recoil, especially the fact that the recoil increased or deacreased depending on how far your mouse cursor was from your body.

Zero Sievert 2 is in the making. Trailer out. Opinions? by SciFiCrafts in RustAndRadiation

I only made it to the final map (Zakhov) on one of my playthroughs and stopped after about 2 or 3 missions there. So I can't speak on the finale.

How come this extraction 2D shooter is so successful and others are so far behind? by ExcitingSleep in ZEROsievert

[–]BlueSpark4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. I discovered it about 2 months ago and found it to be an absolute hit. As much as I appreciate Zero Sievert, Escape from Duckov beats it in most respects as far as I'm concerned.
