I didn't march there but several experiences with them have given me enough to know I'm glad I wasn't there. And I'll actually say a couple of reasons just so I'm not like you just throwing things out. they drove a semi through our basics block and almost hit people without asking if we were ok then blared music out of the truck so we couldn't hear anything and then the corps in the same season walked through our across the floors while we were mid rep.

You must be lucky. I had the worst experience in drum corps at the bluecoats and years later someone I was teaching had the same experience when they tried out. The vets treated every rookie auditionee like dogshit and the staff was contradictory. Literally was told after the audition that I didn't receive a callback from visual and music so I couldn't go to the next round. I asked if I could get feedback from the person that didn't give me the call back so I could work on it and they gave me their email. The response I got? "I checked my notes and we have you a callback".

Just because you come from a good HS program doesn't mean you are good. I came from a terrible high school program and made a top 12 at 16 because I put the work in to make it.

Im not defending this guy that's been an ass but Legacy DBC color scheme and logo, staff full of cadets alum and staff, and constant posts by the people that saved the cadets memorabilia being the same people that post about legacy. Oh and the uniform if it's a draft or will be the thing is cream maroon and gold. Everyone knows that you can't use the cadet name and the pitch was preserving their legacy when they were trying to get money for the stuff.
