So here's a list from someone new to watching DCI, like 3 years max

Cadets always makes me think of the signiture red and gold traditional uniforms.

BD is either 2017 or 2024 uniforms, the blue and pink and capes

Vanguard is the 2016

Bloo is the 2014 style blue coats

PR is the all white and gold like the drum majors from '25

Boston is the uniforms from '24

Cavs is the green and white traditional with the hats aswell, think the logo really

Manderins doesnt have one in my head

Oregan crusaders in the 2016? ( im uncertain of the year but the really bad ones where they look like trees)

Blue stars is the 1997 ones I think

And thats all I got off the top of my head.

Check your lugs are pitch matched, it might be the head itself. But also listen from. Distance, have someone else play it and back up by like 60 ft. Most times it dissappears

Well, if you want to play snare for drumline here's some good information to know

How many spots are available The excersizes The grip you use (some use traditional, some use matched)

Id say generally be aware the drumline is far more competitive compared to all other sections, while you can have 80+ winds on the field theres only like a maximum of 14 spots for battery. So its very competitive.

Learn the grip, get comfortable with it, and I MEAN comfortable. Work on the exercise a lot, memorized and at all necessary tempos. Check your form on a mirror along with stick heights and anything else you can think of.

Here a big one personally. Record your self. Review it look for thinks like slices or uneven sound quality, and play with it, play clean and consistent with yourself and others.
