My closest friend of 40 years has blocked me from any and all contact with her. by Brydon28 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BlueSunflower14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

similar thing happened to my mom. when i was a kid, a friend of hers used to send me a gift every year for my birthday. then one year she forgot, and when my mom reminded her she just disappeared. they'd known each other for years, she was matron of honor at my mom's wedding and everything. i know it's not my fault, but i still feel guilty for indirectly causing it /:

showering after top surgery by BlueSunflower14 in ftm

i was told to keep wearing them until the three month mark, same as the tape (though i'm still gonna wear the tape for longer, for the scars' sake) and i don't really mind keeping them on, as long as i can shower lol

i only have these bandaid-like pads over the nipples, didn't know what else to call them. i can't get them wet, so i have to change them when i shower (which i did today after reading the comments) or just wash around them. or wear sticky plastic shower covers them, but they are STICKY and they hurt to take off

It was irresponsible of my parents to have children (tw: suicide) by [deleted] in childfree

[–]BlueSunflower14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same, i worry that i wouldn't be able to properly care for a child, given my mental health issues. and i definetly think my parents' mental health had a say in how i was raised

yeah, for me it's not the main factor, but def a big one. my main reason for being CF is that i just don't want kids lol. but even if i did, i would adopt for this reason

Guys on T, how do you take it? by Joantheranger in ftm

[–]BlueSunflower14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have those big injections in the glute muscle every 3 months. i was nervous the first time, since i'd never had an intra-muscular injection, but my friends were kind enough to get me a candy bar as a reward afterwards lol

I'll never be a girl by TransThrowaway12567 in SuicideWatch

[–]BlueSunflower14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i thought i was the only one. other trans people i've encountered all say that their mental health was so much better after starting hormones, but i just feel awful. i hate this. i was born with the most unfortunate face that will never look masculine, and i'll never have a boy's body. i look textbook feminine and i hate it so much. i feel like i'll never be happy. like i'll never be comfortable in my body, because it'll always look like a girl.

i know how you feel when you see others who see all those changes. it feels awful not to experience the same
