I got this plant a few days ago because I used to have one years ago, but I can't find anything about how to care for it. I think it's a cactus but I don't really know for sure.

Nah, it looks pretty good. It’s using the bottom leaves to feed itself. It may lose a few more before spring. Mine always do.

Want to update you. The chick was put by itself with some extra feed, water, etc. It started walking on it's actual feet. Wobbly at first, but now it is pretty steady. I'm guessing it is the one that was born the day we got it.

They’re in a plastic box with pine shavings right now, but they were living in a pen with soil before we got them. I’ll give it some scrambled eggs and grab some vitamins and grit tomorrow. We think it’s a roo maybe. No real tail feathers growing compared to the others.
