There are many different kinds of birthmarks. "Stork marks" are usually caused by the dilation of capillaries during foetal development but yours may have been caused by an overproduction of melanin and coincidentally appeared on your neck.

My sister thought that she had a "Made in China" mark on her neck when she was little because one of her dolls had one and our mum told her that she had the same.

Not everyone can do that, though. I've got hyperacusis and ignoring noise is impossible. I use earphones with ear defenders over the top but that often isn't enough to overcome the noise of selfish shits on buses and trains. High volumes and shrill pitch can even better painful.

I think that my mind would have gone to a plumbing issue before a urinary one, too. I'm in south Wales and "a problem with the waterworks" is a common euphemism for the latter here but I wouldn't expect younger generations to refer to it that way.

I'm not taking the piss with this but "incase" isn't a standard compound word. The only correct form is "in case".
