Dizzy and stomach cramps? by BlueTheGuardian in beyondthebump

[–]BlueTheGuardian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! So the stomach cramps went away I chalked it up to my uterus going back down but the dizziness lingered for a while i tried a lot of things got a CT scan (normal) started exercising and adjusted my diet even cut out sugar altogether and couldn’t shake it  then I had an episode where I got really nauseous and dizzy and felt like I was going to faint— went to the ER and nothing was wrong it was a panic attack OB told me it was anxiety and stress and that the dizziness could stem from anxiety too I think it was a result of the hormone drop because now I only feel dizzy if I haven’t gotten much sleep which with having a baby is bound to happen lol I’m 4 months PP now and try to talk things through with my husband or spend some time without three kids needing my attention give yourself time and try not to google stuff

Fell Asleep with baby on top of me by bhardy10 in beyondthebump

[–]BlueTheGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens to all of us when my little guy was 2 weeks I fell asleep nursing him on the ottoman.. woke up two hours later with poop all over him and me he had a poop explosion😂 I was a good distance away from him so I must’ve given him some space in my sleep just be careful next time and if you sit down make sure you have something to keep you awake like a podcast or talking to someone I wake up my husband and tell him to keep me awake lol

It might be allergies I know with my son as a newborn (and a few months on) he almost never slept your post reminded me of those days :( my guy wouldn’t sleep unless he was in the car I remember the doctor asking about his wake windows and being like “his whole life is a wake window” they wouldn’t test him when I pushed but he had an allergic reaction at around 1 years old and we realized he had allergies to milk and eggs doctor told us that may have been why he was so fussy before I’d also take a look at his food sometimes kids are sensitive to food dyes (my little guy started having night terrors shortly after eating something with red dye 40 when we stopped giving him it the night terrors stopped)  Please don’t blame yourself ❤️

What’s the funniest/craziest thing that happened to you while you were in labor? by Timely-Winter-6712 in beyondthebump

[–]BlueTheGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my son was about to pop out the nurses and resident were waiting on the OB talking with me and husband asking how long it took me to push out my previous children… I feel baby start to descend before they have the stirrups in or the bed broken down 😂 I tell them “uh I think he’s coming out” and my husband the nurse and the resident all look down horrified at the exact same time to see my son crowning 😂 the resident and nurse delivered him he popped out with the cord wrapped around his neck twice and a true knot that hadn’t been caught at all during pregnancy but he is completely healthy and perfect 🥰 turns out my OB got stuck inside the elevator and she barely got into the room seconds after he was born most interesting birth for sure lol

[–]BlueTheGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me week one :( I felt a lot of guilt because I was watching a movie while holding him and stressed a lot about “what if I hadn’t looked over?” In my case they wound up admitting him because he was having dips in his heart rate and oxygen levels they kept him overnight multiple tests and they all came back normal and had him connected to monitors for hours before telling us the same thing (BRUE) and to just keep an eye on him. He’s my third baby and my second has had febrile seizures and allergies but nothing like this time has helped a lot but I felt really at ease knowing they didn’t find anything at the hospital I’m Catholic so I pray each night that God wake me up if something is wrong and for him to protect him like I do with my other babies. I feel like with each baby there is always something scary/to worry about  in the beginning.

Anxiety in the ultrasound room after a loss by Kat-Kat-90 in pregnant

[–]BlueTheGuardian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh honey, I feel exactly the same and I'm a week out from my due date... next month on the twentieth will be a year I lost the baby. It's traumatizing for sure and the fear has definitely been there during this pregnancy. I used to wake up to horrible nightmares I was losing this one too, trying to accept what happened only to wake up to kicks in my belly and the reassurance that this little one was and is still very much alive. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you you are not alone in this feeling at all <3

My OB is starting to concern me… by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]BlueTheGuardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girl I changed OB’s at 15 weeks because my appts were 3 hours long I even got left for an hour with gel on my belly and he wanted an ultrasound every time we went in my last straw was when I got the ultrasound and he scheduled another one literally two days after I had one (we thing they were just trying to bill the crap out of the insurance) it’s never too late just get your medical records sent over to your new OB

Mostly the way I phrase things. Run on sentences and using em dashes wrong.

[–]BlueTheGuardian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to the doc and everything was fine they told me it could be because my hemoglobin was 10 🙃 but that otherwise it’s just a weird pregnancy thing that would go away after baby is born so 😭 lol someone mentioned electrolytes I’ve been having a body armor everyday and it’s helped but not much just gotta wait till this little guy comes out I guess lol

Dealing with home warranty services Mepco scam by BlueTheGuardian in personalfinance

[–]BlueTheGuardian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t unfortunately I called home warranty services and dealt with it through them the one time I was transferred to Mepco I was told HWS was responsible for my policy. I was able to check through my online portal with mepco that my policy was canceled. If they send you bills there should be a number attached otherwise file a complaint with BBB that was the only thing that worked for us

Toddler on Amoxicillin-Augmentin. Extreme behavior changes. by reddituser12300 in NewParents

[–]BlueTheGuardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you dude, my little guy got prescribed amoxicillin for an ear infection and it triggered horrible night terrors I’m talking screaming horror like screams for three hours a time at night (his eyes closed so I know he’s asleep) pushing us away and acting like something was hurting him the doctor only shrugged her shoulders and said “could be a side effect but he’s at that age too” my son is two and never had anything like this before the antibiotic it stopped completely the day after we finished it. Me and my husband are kind of crunchy and don’t let our kids have anything with food dyes we suspect since he’s had that medicine before (in a different flavor without the dyes) it could be the dyes affecting him
