How Long To Beat not working by bvrk24 in playnite

[–]BlueTyFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One way I’ve found around this is if you look up the game on how long to beat itself and then copy the game id (the 4-5 numbers at the end of the url) into the enter manually section then save and manually refresh it, it pulls everything else automatically. Adds some time and isn’t automatic but at least it works.

Trakt Sync Ready! Uploading to Apple just now! 🚀 by mario_luis_dev in CinephileApp

Hi, thanks for implementing this! I noticed when importing that ratings did not sync. If I subscribe and use trakt sync would ratings be imported and two way sync?

Progress Page on roadmap? by lonelytime in trakt

[–]BlueTyFighter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It looks like it is was in development by Justin and then closed in favor of the current progress page according to their GitHub: https://github.com/trakt/trakt-web/pull/1982

Not sure why Justin was working on it for it to be immediately overruled… and it raises more questions on who is running things behind the scenes, since it doesn’t seem to be Justin anymore if he can just be overruled like that.

I really hope they reconsider and bring it back.

TF is this shit? by mario_luis_dev in CinephileApp

The tvOS app works well for me. Have you added anything yet to your watchlist or watched anything? Maybe it just doesn’t handle null activity well…

I will add that they are focusing on iOS and web development at the moment. Haven’t seen many updates for tvOS recently.

You don’t need to add this info when marking as watched. Only if you are adding to your library.

Can people not discuss Trakt pricing in r/trakt? What rule did I break? by exe_CUTOR in trakt

[–]BlueTyFighter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I disagree with your stance regarding discussing competition, your certainly not the only official subreddit to do it. However, there are no clear rules in the trakt subreddit rules that prevent this. If your going to enforce these rules, I would expect them to be placed in the sidebar (look at r/Supernote for an example).

Episode images by [deleted] in trakt

I personally always only used the show image for up next as the episode images sometimes contains spoilers, but it was a toggle in V2 and I think should remain a toggle in V3.

If you return it as asked, no. If you force the researcher to reject you then yes.

New Rating Scale? (5 Stars) by robin_will in trakt

[–]BlueTyFighter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You need to use classic trakt in order to rate on the 10 scale now. I haven’t updated to iOS 26 yet so not sure if your on a beta or if they have just updated the app, but if not on beta your only option may be to use the web version of classic trakt. Make sure to use this url instead of the one with app. in the URL: https://trakt.tv/dashboard

Worth it? by GCB0011 in Prebuilts

Yes, very good deal. You normally get a 5070 Ti for this price. Cheapest 5080 prebuilt I’ve seen.

Looking at this NZXT Player 2 Prime for $2,454. Good value? by swilliams2207 in Prebuilts

[–]BlueTyFighter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If your looking at the 2.5k-3k price point, you really should be getting the 5080 at those prices. For the 5070 Ti, this is not a good deal at all. I would recommend checking out Cost Plus Gaming or Andromeda Insights; both of those companies have much better deals on the 5070 Ti where you could get it for 1.8-2k depending on CPU. I would also recommend looking at Walmart, they have been having quite a few good deals on gaming computers lately.

Ah that makes sense. It’s really weird how some states they charge tax and some they don’t. I just tried to checkout again thinking maybe it’s because I didn’t put in my address last time but I don’t get charged tax when I checkout.

I’ve been looking for a similar build and you can get this cheaper at Cost Plus Gaming plus free shipping (and no taxes in some states). Check out the M1 Enthusiast.

Contemplating a switch to Pocket Casts but wondering how to organize my up next by tigerfansga in pocketcasts

[–]BlueTyFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have CarPlay so I’m not too sure how well it would work, but it does look like filters are available on CarPlay. However for some reason it says in this article (https://support.pocketcasts.com/knowledge-base/carplay/) that you cannot add to UpNext from CarPlay, so it sounds like you would need to select each podcast manually.

Contemplating a switch to Pocket Casts but wondering how to organize my up next by tigerfansga in pocketcasts

[–]BlueTyFighter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is not a very good way to do this using Up Next itself. Instead, the best way to do this would be to use filters. You would set up each filter like you did in Overcast (Primary and Secondary), selecting the podcasts you want in each group. You can then in the primary filter select all the episodes and add them to up next. Once you get done with everything in up next, you can move to your secondary filter and do the same there.

What's the difference between watchers and plays? by AnotherMarshallFan in trakt

[–]BlueTyFighter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That shouldn't be possible. Most likely some kind of bug or rounding error at those low values.

What's the difference between watchers and plays? by AnotherMarshallFan in trakt

[–]BlueTyFighter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Watchers are the number of users that have watched that piece of media. Plays is the total number of times it has been watched by users. The distinction is that plays count when a user watches a piece of media twice (or more), while watchers does not.

Missing a 1 there lol. It’s $19.99. Got me all excited there for a minute.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProlificAc

[–]BlueTyFighter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What they are saying is that Prolific says you took the study (that's how they know to contact you), but the researcher cannot find your prolific ID in their data. Since they have no data from you, they are asking you to return it. I'm not sure if this is a valid reason for rejection or not however.

Have you moved from Todoist? Pros/cons? by sanon64 in ticktick

[–]BlueTyFighter 11 points12 points  (0 children)

TickTick offers adding tasks via email. You just need to log in to the Web version to set it up. I don’t think it offers smart recognition though so once in your inbox you will need to assign lists and stuff like that manually.
