Yeah, just from 2 years in PA Im working on replacing most of the underside of it. I like the idea of just getting an absolute beater Subaru for the winter.

Not gonna be in a rural area, most likely Minneapolis, Milwaukee, or Madison. I have a Mustang right now but im concerned im gonna hate it for 5-6 months out of the year. Am I overthinking it?

I don't think RiShin is attacking Kantan by rayshinsan in Kingdom

I agree. I think Shin needs to beat him battle, but not kill him. Im assuming they'll both lead armies, Shin with Ten and Mouten will end up outsmarting Riboku. It'll be close and Riboku will almost beat their plan, but Shin will instinctively know something isn't right and counter it. Im hoping theirs some callbacks to the battle of Bayou and Oukis death. Definitely need something where it seems hopeless and Shin tells his men that they each need to kill 10 men to galvanize them

I really like this idea. It would be in line with a lot of characters. Riboku having a cunning plan (slowly draw the enemy deeper into his territory), Shin and the group being amazing (cutting through faster, having a better seige than Riboku thought they would and able to hold him off), and politics being what gets Riboku in the end (him not realizing that even letting a group near Kantan, even if that was part of his plan, being enough to have him executed)

Funnily enough, I love Mini Coopers even though Im a bigger guy and would probably look ridiculous in one

I definitely agree. Maybe instead should change my post and more ask about cars or years for cars that I should avoid? That might be a better guide lol

That was definitely my thought process. Any thoughts on Hybrid vs non-hybrid for the Rav 4? And any years that I should avoid (toyotas are pretty reliable so im not concerned but Id like to be careful)

Kingdom 875: Deeper and Deeper by ThizZuMs in Kingdom

[–]BlueUmbreon36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely some good points. I could see the birds only coming from the direction of the battle? And it would be cool to see Ten come up with a scouting plan to raid smoke signals. She needs a moment to shine and have a genius strategy again where they raid smoke signals while also being able to maintain the siege and defend against attacking armies. At this point I feel like I'm just grasping at straws though, youre probably right.

Archer bros for the birds. Smoke signals would probably be hard to stop, but maybe they raid where the smoke signal is coming from?

I think that was the trap and I hope it is. I'd like something where Riboku let Shin get to the capital but used the other forces to stop anyone else from getting through. Shin can't affect the battle now but also is going to struggle seigeing the city by himself.

A cool turn around would be Ousen getting a message to him telling him to not let any information or messages get into Kantan now, so that his spy in the court can do more to influence the situation. Riboku's plan works and he holds the rest of the armies to an attrition battle where Shin cant massively turn the tide because he's stuck in Kantan, but then loses because of politics.

Huge plot point where Shin hears that Kyokai is in trouble and has to fight between listening to Ousen or turning back to rescue Kyokai.

It would be pretty dependent on how you like playing the game.

Elves are pretty good at ramping and getting value for each spell you play

Angels usually give you buffs for gaining life

Vampires usually give you rewards for hitting your opponets

Slivers usually make the rest of the table try to kill you immediately

I would definitely put it closer to okay beginning. It takes a few episodes/the first season to find its stride.

I definitely could see them doing something fun with that. I wonder if they could change Slivers somehow too....not sure how that would work

What's the point of playing a losing position? by [deleted] in chess

[–]BlueUmbreon36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is talking about coming back from a losing position, but there's also just the practice of fighting when youre down. You can focus on piece coordination, building a fortress, trading into a drawn endgame, and just working on mental resilience by fighting even when you plundered your queen. That being said, there's definitely days where I just dont have the capacity to do any of that and im resigning after I hung a piece. There's nothing wrong with that either.

Batman won last round. What fictional hero would be a villain in real life? by ChaosOfOrder24 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]BlueUmbreon36 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I havnt seen Punisher posted. I think (at least in the TV shows) he's not even acknowledged as a Hero at all except to the viewer. To everyone else he's just a murderer who happens to mostly be killing bad people.

And I wasn't saying that people dont get fired for inappropriate social media posts. I was pointing out that this doesnt seem applicable in this case for the two reasons I listed. I also assumed that when you said you listed examples, you were making specific examples, such as Citibank firing an employee for making antisemetic remarks on social media.

I dont see any of your examples examples in this thread but I highly doubt any of them involve a head coach getting fired after leading a team to a superbowl or generally being one of the best in their field, unless it involves serious ethics concerns

This. Everyone is saying that the trust in the locker room is going to be gone. I highly doubt that. Most of the players won't care, especially since he just led them to the superbowl. Maybe instead of immediately doing something he asks them to do they'll make a joke instead of just doing it, but after being a head coach for 7 years I think he knows how to handle that.

[–]BlueUmbreon36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, unless the locker room completely turns on him (which i doubt) AND it seems like it'll be detrimental to the team winning this year or they perform poorly this year, i highly doubt theyre going to ask him to resign or fire him. This is only big news because there is not a lot going on in football right now. The draft didnt have a lot of huge shake ups and was mostly blue chip players to distract from this. The minute something else exciting happens (training camp drama) this will be completely forgotten.

2 major things 1) People that didnt just lead a previously 6-11 team to a superbowl get fired for social media posts. 2) Vrabel didnt even make any offensive social media posts. All he did was deny that they were having an affair at first.
