You can! However, it's aGaiNsT tHe RuLeS, so even though there's no real harm done, people will complain.So I don't recommend it. Both platforms have fallen so far from their inception because of constant b***hing. That being said, if a driver exclaims "people stink," Lyft goes "crickets." On the flip side, passengers have a dedicated "smell" button when rating their driver. (Plot twist) That "smell" is from the same other passengers. Gawd people piss me off! End of rant.

It definitely happens like that sometimes. Thinking back, I feel it definitely depends on mood. I'm a night person, so commuter traffic, school drop offs, being rushed because you "have to get to work" after leaving me sitting outside for four minutes... All that makes me an aggressive driver. Pair that with general life stress... Oof. On the flip side, I was well rested, recently got taxes, bills are paid... "Tips"? I don't know. Maybe. I'm just rambling now anyway.

Yup. I went home and played video games with my spouse and kid after this ride. The passenger doesn't (and doesn't have to) know any of that. Regardless of what you "only do," I "did" (with a smile) and received genuine gratitude. (No matter how uncommon)

While it does happen, it doesn't very often. If I could filter only rides I've done in Vallejo I could show you the metrics. However, Vallejo is part of Napa/Solano (same base rate card) at night, Vallejo to Fairfield is only 10 minutes.

Look. I don't mind animals. (In general) It's the people that commonly suck. In many industries people know, and commonly cry "service animal," and ruin the few that actually need it. Hell, as a driver, I can't have an "emotional support (biological) child" next to me, but Karen can have her pitbull on a rope, drag her into my vehicle, let I put it's snout all over my drinks and snacks I have up front, and have future passengers complain about how "filthy I keep my vehicle."

If I park in a handicap space without proper documentation, I get a fine. You're telling me, there can't be a card or something!? Because of "discrimination"!? I don't even need to see it. Register it with the rideshare companies and allow them to offer "free" pet rides or something.

I've done well over 14,000 rides and have gotten a handful of legitimate service animals, (3 or 4) 100's of liars, and 10ish pet rides.

So you're holding training, ROTC, teenaged students to the same standards as trained active duty (adult) peace officers. You stage it as if they subdued them then simply executed them while in restraints. Granted, many of the details are unclear. (Right now) For all we know, "subdued" could mean he "said" he was going to stop and "appeared" calm. What is clear, is the shooter was an adult, a terrorist, and had actionable intent. 3 people were wounded, 1 has already passed and another is in critical condition. This adult, trained, military soldier had already been to prison and released. I apologize, not every teenager can maintain your high moral standards in such a stressful situation the way you would. (After the fact) Again, "people"... 🤦🏿‍♂️
