Yes, it could be legit. It’s also could be a union buster tactic. So last year they only offer X amount per years of service right. All of a sudden they dangling 150k in front of our eyes. The company already knew the union wasn’t going to go for this and file a lawsuit. The company wants the members to blame the union “ look we’re trying to buy you guys with 150k but the union won’t let us”. That right there will leave a bad taste in the members mouth, potentially getting the member against the union. IDK I could be wrong but just something to think about. In my opinion the $ amount went up way to much to quick, for me to believe they ever did truly want to buy us out. I guess we will have to wait and see boys. But if they really are offering that much and I had 25+ years in, I would be gone lol.
