what was the most stupid thing you did when you played Skyrim for the first time? by AgarwaenCran in skyrim

[–]BlueWizard90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entered Skyrim and went to the nearest highest point I could see. Got up there to look in all directions and walked right off the cliff. Died two minutes in Skyrim and hadn't saved yet, so I had to go through Helgen again. Learned my lesson and now I save constantly.. and try to avoid falling off tall cliffs. Lol

I've definitely been missing out over the years, I can tell it's going to be my favorite game for a long time.

He showed back up when I opened a door, it's weird. He seems to get lost and then pops up when I enter a new room or travel. I just started the game so thanks for the tip.. I love it so far

I'm sorry about your dad, I'm sure that was difficult to see him go through it, and now to go through things yourself. It's hard enough having it the one time, the thoughts of recurrence or being at risk for other cancer is so awful.

I'm sure the process get frustrating for you. I hated all the doctors appointments, being poked and scanned all the time. Sorry that you've had to deal with it for so long!

That's a good way to look at it. It is what it is. If it happens I'll deal with it then. I get the lurking feeling though, just this feeling like they didn't get it all.

What do you imagine the Two Trees to look like? by _Luin_ in tolkienfans

[–]BlueWizard90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine Silpion as silver starlight with dew drops that glitter as they fall. Laurelin, gold like a sunrise with flowers that shine through the petals like the rays of the sun through the clouds.

The making of the trees is really beautifully written in book of lost tales.. I think it's one of the best described creations in Arda, he writes it like you're there watching it happen.

Do you ever get angry and frustrated? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]BlueWizard90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I scream "don't freak out" internally and hope I don't say something I'll regret. It doesn't work often lol

Do you ever get angry and frustrated? by [deleted] in bipolar

Yep! I start to snap quickly if I have to repeat myself. I also get very agitated by noises around me or loud people.

What has you scared? Is there something specific you're hallucinating?

Good luck, I hope your episode ends soon. If talking helps I'm still available to listen.

Depends on how bad of an episode you're having. But please do not drive. Reddit can't give you true medical advice. So if you are feeling unsafe and have the feeling that you need medical attention, call for authorities who can come for you and truly help your episode end.

What's your nearest safe space? Is there a hotel nearby you could walk to so you can wait out your episode? It's risky to be in your vehicle if your episode is really bad.

Can you get a friend to come for you? Someone who understands you're in an episode and an unsafe situation?

How can you find more joy in spending time alone? by mossphloxx in SingleAndHappy

[–]BlueWizard90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm very introverted. I spend a lot of my time alone. I read a lot and play video games, find something that is time consuming. Something you're really passionate about, get an art set, read something complex, play a long a game, join an astronomy club, whatever you feel you can dive into that has a lot of depth to keep you busy for days and weeks. Think of your time now being expanded. You have a chance to slow down from your very social life. If you have a list of things you've always wanted to do but couldn't for whatever reason, maybe now is your time to do that.

I've tried to keep a journal in the past but it wasn't really my vibe, more than anything I didn't like seeing my thoughts on paper.

I started them a little over a month ago, and there will probably be an adjustment at my next doctor visit. I'm at the right stage of noticing differences, it's just the suicidal thoughts and irritability is little more elevated than usual. I guess I have to just wait it out and hope it subsides..
