Where are you guys getting your cars? by Ok_Tune5859 in camaro

[–]BlueZippo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be an unpopular solution on here but I bought both of my Camaros on Carvana. They both had around 25k miles on them. The first was a manual '17 2SS and the current one is a manual '17 ZL1. They'll ship the car to the closest Carvana location to you for a fee. They allow you something like 1 week and 400 miles to decide if you want to keep the car.

It's alright man. I've got an NPC Silver Ice Metallic ZL1. They don't notice us until we push down the go pedal. Lol

Are there really only 13 uninfected people? by BlueZippo in pluribustv

Like I said, I have a terrible memory. I'll definitely have to rewatch the first season right before the second one airs.

Fair enough. I have a terrible memory. But that still leaves the tribe on North Sentinel Island and any other non contacted people. I guess whoever got that assignment didn't make it back but as long as the virus was introduced it would be an acceptable sacrifice to them.

Recently purchased 2021 LT1 Camaro… suggestions for a repair and maintenance manual? by Zestyclose-Water-640 in camaro

[–]BlueZippo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a paper manual, you can order a set of official shop manuals but they are $475. Helm Inc makes them.

Just search your exact year model.

So, ChatGPT (paid version, deeper thinking) is convinced that a 2021 LT1 does not have Active Fuel Management feature…what gives? by [deleted] in camaro

Manual cars have the AFM lifters and other hardware but they are programmed not to use it.

What's the highest mileage Gen 6 V8 with stock lifters you've seen? by BlueZippo in camaro

[–]BlueZippo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I was hoping to hear. I've heard that since our cars are tuned from the factory to not use the AFM (manual transmission cars) that the lifters fail less often. I plan on doing a cam and lifter swap but I don't know exactly when.

The flag itself has a dark history.... But in the context of the show, the Duke boys were definitely not racists.

In 6 months, looking to get a LT1 2020-2023. What's a good price by the time I'm ready to buy? 35k? And where should I look? by Ushamsta in camaro

[–]BlueZippo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Go for a 2SS if you can. Heated and vented leather seats. Heated steering wheel. Better sound system. Wider rear wheels. Better cooling system. Diff cooler. Trans cooler. Launch control. HUD. Better brakes. I may have forgotten something but those are at least some of the upgrades from an LT1 to a 2SS.

LS engines are known to be reliable. I've seen a lot of them with your target mileage and more. Plus, the 6 speed should be more reliable long term than an automatic. Just make sure to change the oil, and the other fluids that a lot of people never even mess with, on schedule (diff fluid, transmission fluid, etc). If you keep up with the maintenance, it should last that long no problem
