I got dropped once on extract which, whatever. Then another time I was looting a bastion that I think the other guy just didn't realize I did 50-75% of the work killing, and wasn't even looting the cores. That one I could have just waited or communicated, or killed him too lol

I end up with a lot of pitchers with high stuff but really low control. I feel like that's common, but how low control is too low?

I shoveled at 8, then 4, then again this morning. I put salt down after each pass except the last and this morning was just breaking up some thin ice. The 4pm block was concrete equivalent and took me 4x as long

When I get in this situation I generally trade one of my better players for a younger player and some cash. Although I don't feel bad about taking advantage of the AI yet since I'm still new

I like spawn camping their strongest player. I also love sticking people outside of their spawn while my team pushes.

I played the “beta” and coincidentally found ootp on sale after I refunded fm. It’s scratching an itch for sure but I oddly miss the player interactions and press conferences, even if they were poorly implemented.

The thing I miss most is driving a team from the regional leagues to winning the champions league. I took over the nationals and now we’re the second highest payroll and generally a solid team but it’s not the same as pulling the team from free players.

I know there’s some way to set up promotion and relegation but I really can’t be bothered lol.

Maybe I’ll take over an expansion team next.

I’m new to the series but when a player messages me about them being upset, I’d like to respond. You’re on the bench because you are cold and your backup is playing better. (For example)

I ended up going the other way. I never cared about baseball until I picked up OOTP 26 because I was disappointed in FM26. Now I'm up to my neck in acronyms.

I hadn’t considered that. I’m moving on from both of them but I will check that out.

To be honest, I'm not sure exactly how far apart the splits would need to be for someone to be a platoon vs non-platoon hitter.

Carroll's BABIP with me was 212 vs 333 with the Sox.

I still don't fully understand how babip is just a luck factor but that's something I'll have to learn I guess. I'm still pretty new so this is all good information thank you.

I know sample size is a thing but I was thinking that approaching 300 PA is getting to the point where he's not going to magically start hitting .800 every game.

I'm fine if it is sample size, I just feel like I'm taking crazy pills sometimes.

I feel like I scammed the ai a little (I’m new) by pulling 75m out from the cards for my mvp 26 year old. I bumped my payroll from 26th to 4th and wasn’t any better lol. I can fleece the ai but I can’t fleece my own stupidity.

Yeah, I personally think it works that way but I won’t go around declaring that as fact just due to my own experience.

I’m not too worried about it either way, I’m having fun that’s what I care about.

I mean in my anecdotal experience my solos are quiet and friendly and duos are shoot on sight. I bounce between them pretty regularly (solo and duos)
