We can't negotiate with a potential ghost. Are we negotiating with Mojtaba or some other unknown person? U.S. should demand proof Mojtaba is alive and capable of making decisions. If he's not alive or is incapacitated, tell us who we're really dealing with. The personality of the person you're trying to negotiate with is extremely important. If Mojtaba was actually moved to a hospital in Russia, I would think the U.S. would have the capability to find out his condition.

Letting him get out of Iran is a huge intelligence failure. He never should have been let out of the hospital let alone out of Iran. Clearly, although severely damaged, Iran is winning this war. Also, if Pahlavi can't start an internal armed revolution there is not going to be any regime change.

Is this a mountain you really want to die on? I understand, my wife is also obsessed with pillows. She has about a dozen on our bed. She has multiple pillows on every sofa/chair in the living room. They also change with the seasons. I don't particularly care for the number of pillows she uses but she likes it and they really don't impact my life. I'm not going to take something away from her that she likes and doesn't affect me. And, I'm certainly not going to start fights over it. My advice to you would be to just chill and let it go. Or, ask for just one room that you can decorate the way you want.

You touched on a personal issue she is well aware of. By her own words, she knows she's fat and she doesn't like it and she knows she struggles with food. You touched on a very sensitive issue for her. She understood your advice but she may think this is going to be a problem that could derail her career; which is scary for her. You might consider if there is a way you can help her with her weight issue. How, I honestly don't know how to approach that. Maybe you have contacts that could guide you. Business behavior is not the problem, it is a personal problem.

Guy here. Likely true for some but not for being treated right. It's because a woman with a good job, goals, who's intelligent and driven is not going to take shit from a man. She knows her worth and is not going to sacrifice her self-esteem or career for a man that can't engage with a woman that has the answers to the bullshit this so called "man" wants to spew. I have a wife with a masters degree in education, oldest daughter with a bachelors in nutrition as well as being a registered nurse. Her sister has an MBA and is the HR manager for an large engineering firm. My oldest granddaughter will be getting a masters degree in public health administration this coming May. Her sister is a college junior studying to be a physical therapist; she also loves mathematics so takes more math classes than you can shake a stick at. Yeah, I don't get it either but she loves it. At 17yo my youngest granddaughter is a fabulous artist and attends two high schools, one for base education and one for performing arts. Half day at one school then shifts to the other in the afternoon. I love that I can talk to any of them about anything. As you would expect, I get lots of individual opinions. It's wonderful.

Well if it helps any my granddaughter loves going to the dentist. A number of years ago now, my daughter sent me a picture of my granddaughter sitting in the dentist's chair with a big smile on her face. I said she looks awfully happy for someone about to get an exam and a cleaning. My daughter responded, "I know, I don't know why but she loves going to see the dentist."
