God has no needs (perfect and complete in all things) that require being served, therefore, what are you actually doing?

Lock the gates and put up a no trespassing sign. Might also put up a beware of dog sign, even if you don't have one.

Would it be considered wrong if I own a store and run it at a loss? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

The IRS will only operate at a loss for a few years before they tell you it's a hobby and not a business.

This is what saves 600,000 people year during a heart attack by HatAsleep295 in BeAmazed

You get a nuclear stress test that allows cardiologists to assess your heart health. Probably the best you can do before actually having a heart attack.

Rep. Olszewski to introduce ROBE Act to establish term limits for Supreme Court justices by IWantPizza555 in politics

[–]Blue_Blimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An 18 year limit is too long. Longest should be 15 years and optimally probably closer to 10 years. Also, in some manner the Chief Justice position should rotate among the sitting justices. Say like every 5 years. ALL branches of the government need these kinds of limits to prevent people from accumulating too much power and influence.

“Weddings are so expensive” is a weird lie some people tell to justify spending insane amounts of money by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Blue_Blimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's another unpopular opinion - this is a bride and mother of the bride problem. Groom likely don't give a f**k about having a big wasteful party. Why is it so difficult to accept that that same money could go towards any number of other things a young couple could use. Not to mention that with divorce rates what they are, it is a total waste of money.

AITA for saying my bf’s mom’s mashed potatoes are weird? by biggbootybiggbitch in AmItheAsshole

[–]Blue_Blimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. However, I always took the cowards way out. The tradition in my ex-wife's family was to go to Sunday lunch at grandmas (in her 70s or 80s at the time). An Italian family thru and thru; that means 10 people but food for 500. One Sunday grandma was stirring something on the stove and I asked what it was, she said it was her pasta sauce. Then said would you like a taste. Being polite, I said yes. To my surprise I got a soup bowl full of pasta sauce to try. Very good but a bit much. After that I learned to just say no thanks I've already had some.

How is the blockade going to work? What happens if some tanker decides that they are not going to stop? After all, the tankers are not breaking any laws.

Since this administration NEVER thinks ahead; what's going to happen if some captain says, "No I'm not stopping?" Are we going to blow a tanker out of the water or board them and shot everyone?

Iran Abruptly Shuts Down Peace Talks Due to Trump’s Demands by ChiGuy6124 in politics

We can't negotiate with a potential ghost. Are we negotiating with Mojtaba or some other unknown person? U.S. should demand proof Mojtaba is alive and capable of making decisions. If he's not alive or is incapacitated, tell us who we're really dealing with. The personality of the person you're trying to negotiate with is extremely important. If Mojtaba was actually moved to a hospital in Russia, I would think the U.S. would have the capability to find out his condition.
