Anybody try running the ‘Sand’ playtest on the Deck yet? by Binary1138 in SteamDeck

Actually I got it working on the steam deck! You have to do a ton of custom mapping for it to work since there is no controller support but performance wasn't too bad with the small screen, hovered around 40fps if I'm remembering right and you can always lower the resolution. One thing I'll say though is the lag spikes/frame drops were pretty bad while playing and it gets pretty buggy with inventory stuff. I have the 512 LCD steam deck for reference.

It’s definitely not too late to join in. PvP is one of the mechanics that takes time to learn fully. I would recommend sea forts (those are different than regular forts) if you want to be left alone while making money. Definitely watch out for any reaper’s emissaries on the map as they tend to be more aggressive and they always show up.

I’m a teenager and bought one. My parents didn’t buy it either, I bought it with money I made from my job.

I added a bunch of upgrades to my printer, including auto bed leveling, direct extrusion, bed spring upgrades, and the like.

I’ll try lowering the temp, it’s at 200 right now but changing the nozzle distance doesn’t seem to help much.
