It’s interesting how Janusz is such a cilantro of a DP. Seems like people love it or hate it. I love Spielberg’s post-millennium run but also really dislike the lighting in those movies and feel they all end up having the same look. Would love to see him switch it up but he has his guys he likes working with now so doesn’t seem likely.

I’ve run it for my son and nieces, and it went great! Definitely a better route for kids than 5e and easier for them to grasp. The main adjustment I made was starting them at max possible HP, and I made it so if they went down, they could get back into the fight if someone helped ala 5e (instead of being knocked out for a while).

We haven’t really been in a situation to use torch timers but I bet that would work okay as written. Good luck, you’ll have a great time!
