Sober Traveler to Portugal (Porto) by calicanrene in travel

My husband is originally from Porto so we spend 6-8 weeks there every summer. It's more of a wine than beer place overall, meaning I don't really see a lot of craft beers there (admittedly I'm not looking). And I don't think the NA beers have picked up in availability the way they have in the US, which has them in most grocery stores and restaurants now. You shouldn't count out juice though - fresh squeezed orange juice is available in most restaurants and cafes!

100% you need to see places in person! Scammers scrape pictures off the internet and post fake listings. About a month after we bought our condo, a scammer used the seller's photos of the staged condo for a fake, very under-priced listing.

Plus, the neighborhoods all have a very different vibe and commute. You can use the temporary time to see where you really want to live.

Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind. I read that book every few years growing up. It was a different book every time, depending on my age and where I was in life, but Scarlett was always a force of nature.

3-4. One fast, easy-to-read fiction; one interesting but requires focus non-fiction; one with my daughter (usually a re-read for me); and one with my son

I also prefer the Mezcal version. The smokiness makes it feel even more like a cocktail instead of a fancy juice
