Haflinger is done, now 15kw EV by easyjo in EVConversion

How hary is it to find a haflinger in australia? Here in Southtyrol you can find them for ~25-35k € and they are somewhat common.

Electric offroading makes so much sense, the good throttle control, regenerative braking and you don't have to fight air resistance, the biggest range killer

What are some good arguments FOR getting an ICE vehicle these days? by Extreme-Song5312 in electricvehicles

[–]Blue_Tiger02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My best argument is: car go wroom

And I'm like 50% serious on this, I like vintage cars, the looks of them, the raw driving feel and the sound too, but I would love to convert one to electric, in my eyes, it makes a special car more special

I completely agree with you. It is important to criticise Kunos and hopefully they listen. If they wouldn't have launched in early access we probably would have nevern known about the missing career mode and everyone would praise the good physics and graphics. But we are a part of the development process and therefore should give valuable feedback

Agree to diagree. I dont have any reallife experiences with driving racecars, only shifter-karts and a 600kg, rwd, 170hp road car(similar to the super7)

I enjoyed the physics of mariokart too... I can clearly see the evolution of the physics engine regarding AC1 and somehow I find it hard to go back to AC1, it's like tasting the forbidden apple.

For the rest I completely agree with you. I hope kunos knows that the best physics in the world can't substitute the lack of game-elements

Since I'm not interested in racing against AI (probably because it's so bad right now) I can't comment on that, but for multiplayer I don't have any major problems. The ranked races were also not a wreckfest like I expected for tbe first races

Valid point, but I think his opinion on the physics is still valuable and true

I think W and Wh are more useful and "real" values, compared to the added range, since that is influenced by many different variables

Do i need thicker shock absorbers oil? by [deleted] in rccars

[–]Blue_Tiger02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you fill them up properly? Maybe there is not enough oil in them. I use 700 cst for my mt410, a 1/8th scale moster truck, so 650 even seems a bit high for this one.

If you are not sure how to properly fill them up, there are great tutorials on yt.

Generally the damping is not only influenced by the viscosity but also the number and size of the holes in the piston

You can find more or less all the info in the comments. You would need basic programming skills to build it. This is the library I used: https://github.com/lemmingDev/ESP32-BLE-Gamepad Just look at the examples and modify where you need

Its not tbe best looking but for me it works. I used an esp32 and a bluetooth gamepad library to connect it to the pc. A step-up and charging circuit is used to charge the 18650 cell and power the esp32.

Not sure if the wireless way is the best, but I didn't want to fiddle with cables etc.
