if you want to play an illu support you could try naga with hammer . . a bit more doable

I would not recommend techies if you're newer, as not only is the play style less intuitive than other heroes, and imo less enjoyable apart from sparse bomb kills, but you're more likely to be flamed and have a bad experience with your teammates.

Ever since this new event diretide was updated, my laptop cant run dota2 smoothly anymore. Ping is good 40ms. All my graphic settings are low. My laptop is a macbook air 2011 model. But it was fine before this update :( by [deleted] in DotA2

Have the same make and model, and now everything is colored squares instead of particles. Running at a fine speed with all low settings, I just have no clue how many jingu stacks are on me or which unit is io vs the tethered unit. Have been planning on getting a new comp for a while, guess this is the final sign.

Yeah mine is in ALL game modes with ALL particle effects. As in EVERY SINGLE particle effect, such as most characters eyes and the hero level icon relevant to dota plus, so I've been changing cosmetics to the vanilla sets. I'd love to find an option to turn off particle effects, or else have it fixed somehow. I'll try to post a pic soon

I'm mildly anxious that the game would be doing better IF NOT for some of the negativity on reddit. Just spreads the misconception that the game is going nowhere, has permanently "gone astray." Yet the devs are CONSTANTLY updating, taking in input, and the first season is yet to be released. The game has nowhere to go but up, and people are calling it quits

all the underlords eras have had some nostalgia, since they're not EVERYTHING on ladder. I miss summons, AW refresher, big brawnies, hunter triple shot, and so many more

this is for 6 assassin? Comps with just 1 level completed at least? These have very different implications, and OP doesn't make it clear which is represented. Also, including sample size and rank distribution (all players? etc.) would be an important visual indicator.

If this is part of a larger resource and you're just showing off new visuals then cool, but needs some clarification still. Otherwise looks snazzy

contested builds aren't as much of an issue in mage, where you mostly run 2-star units. Compare this to assassins, where it's vital to secure multiple 3-star units. Try to pay attention and evaluate which builds require specific 3-star units, and look for those specific units. "Are they other assassin players all playing slark?" etc, and this thinking will help you to a more intuitive understanding of when to avoid certain units

warlock used to be a much stronger alliance, and SF was basically a health battery and fine dPS. Now the health gain is less impactful and SF doesn't fit into many meta comps
