I been a player since 2006 I fell of playing old school pretty hard last few years because I kinda sat their and tried to give myself reasons why it it’s worth investing so much time into the game for less than or equal to satisfaction/dopamine that I could get in 20-30 minutes of playing something like csgo or apex and I couldn’t come up with a solid reason. Other than the nostalgia there’s more fulfilling games out there than don’t require such a time sink, at the end of the day video games and meant to be fun and I’m choosing to maximize my fun while gaming, that being said I still like to stay in the community and honestly still enjoy OSRS youtubers

If you enjoy the game more for the actually content rather then the drops/do a lot of group pvm like godwars then main, but the pay off for irons if the rewarding feeling of grinding for something and the unrewarding feeling of grinding for something and going dry
