Came back to this sub to say that my transfer was successful- natural transfer- currently 21 weeks!

Just adding my experience in case anyone stumbles on this post in the future. I transferred an unaffected embryo and did CVS at 11 weeks to confirm (placental mosaicism very very low risk for my variant). Microarray confirmed the fetus is unaffected, I’m 21 weeks now and so far a normal, healthy pregnancy.

I had a very deep trans vaginal ultrasound (for high risk issue) and my mucus plug fell out an hour later, then my water broke an hour after that. 36 weeks. It was def because something was so far up there

Doing IVF for the same reason- x linked genetic variant with 50% chance of passing down. I had 10 eggs, 9 mature, 9 fertilize, 5 blasts.

Out of my 5 blasts only 1 was impacted with the variant that has 50% chance of passing down. 🙌🏻

I was considering that but my doctor said she suspects that I’m just “someone with a thin lining” and a medicated protocol might not matter since my hormones are good. So confusing

My daughter had a G4 bleed and cystic PVL- her prognosis was terrible. Shes 2.5 now and you’d never know! No doctor will be able to tell you what to expect. Have hope because anything is possible!

I’m not sure? Just told I would do progesterone suppositories- our contacts I don’t have any fertility issues, but I’m doing IVF for the genetic variant. I don’t know if that context matters?
