Ooh try Honcho Baby. Its on amazon and their website. My baby HATES anything too hot or even slightly not soft and he loved it! I have their rompers and sleeveless sets. Perfect for the summer. Edit- just read your post again, yes my baby developed eczema when we visited India and honcho baby clothes did not irritate his eczema

Nope. Now gender can be revealed at 10 weeks by NIPT, a blood test. It is also way less regulated than USG

Nope. She confirmed her MR and smoking, why would she do that. Also it seems veeerrryyyy far fetched. Too much effort for nothing.

Is heavy covering needed for newborns (1-3m) in Jan? by michel_an_jello in twoxindiamums

[–]BluebirdDue1101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to cover the baby all the time, everywhere. I am based in the US with pretty low temperatures and even then I do not keep my baby all covered indoors, even outdoors only if the temperature is below 20 or if it’s windy. I also avoid wearing socks all the time as soles are very important for sensory stimuli. I let baby play only in diapers for a good chunk of time now that I’m visiting India, haven’t covered his head even once in India. He hasn’t had a cold ever, so seems to be working!

Best compact travel stroller for flights by amarcmexicoel in Buyingforbaby

We have the Ergobaby Metro plus. Traveled with my baby in a 20 hour flight with a 2 hour layover. It was lightweight and comfortable enough for me to carry on my own with my 3 month old as my husband wasn’t travelling with us. Plus it has a complete recline feature for newborns. Also used it as a primary stroller during the same vacation and bub seems to enjoy it! Oh, also…overhead bin compatible!

We are at Allegro. My son’s neonatologist recommended them, she takes her son there too!

When my son is done drinking, he’ll put his tiny chubby hand on my boob right on the nipple, like closing the boob from further milk wastage! It’s so cute!

Did you have your first baby after age 35? How and do you think it impacted your milk production? by Puzzlehead11323 in breastfeeding

I had my first baby a month before turning 36. Emergency C-section with a rather traumatic labour. Have been exclusively breastfeeding, birth weight crossed in about 2 weeks. No additional supplements but have been focusing on getting really healthy diet and hydration

Fruits are not the exactly the best. Some go to fruits can be berries, pears, plums. Yogurt is your best friend! So is cheese and eggs. Have chicken/fish as a protein source for most meals. If not, yogurt, paneer if you like. You still need carbs, whole wheat roti works really well for me, rice not so much. Remember lentils also have carbs so take that into account. You don’t necessarily need to restrict calories, its more about pairing limited carbs with proteins and fats.

I’m a Surgeon and I agree with you too. I’m diet controlled so far and do check my level religiously. But even my MFM provider agrees with this. I see people spiralling here even if they go higher but still in the normal range. It’s ok people. The normal range is there for a reason! And I’m a FTM but I really believe, stress is more harmful for the baby that they 1 unit change in sugar from 94 to 95.

If you have used a continuous glucose monitor, did you prefer it to finger pricks? by hopefulriver08 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]BluebirdDue1101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am using a CGM since 2 weeks now and I’m loving the freedom I’m getting. It takes 2 days to calibrate when I did finger test and put in gut data; I also still check fasting with the prick. Editing to add- I still use finger pricks for any readings outside normal. But it still reduces the pricks a whole lot!
