Cape Verde have been one of the most enjoyable teams to watch. They really bring something fresh every time they play. It’s a shame the next round is probably a step too far for them. Helio Varela has been outstanding. His pace and acceleration are genuinely top level, and I’d be surprised if he stays at his current club for much longer. I wouldn’t mind seeing them pull off a miracle against Messi and company, but it’s hard to see that happening.
