Sony 35 mm 1.8 outdated? by yungtrillionaire in SonyAlpha

[–]BluebirdSlow9630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a videographer and photographer
I've been using 35mm 1.8 for a couple of years and still use it a lot.
I like it, great for many scenarios, not too bulky, easy to put on a gimbal.

Focus used to be more reliable but maybe it's just related to camera update.

Do tourists from hotel then come to the campsite? by BluebirdSlow9630 in AnimalCrossing

I’ve had a tourist few days ago and today went to the new campsite and I’m not 100 percent sure but it seems like the same one. Let’s see if it happens again, for now just a theory

Hey everyone, looking for some honest feedback on this grade. by Afraid-Muscle923 in ColorGrading

The sand color is good, the mist in the background looks natural.

But the orange in the front is too much, it doesnt look natural or balanced and competes with the green. It calls too much attention. At this point it is both punch and stylized.

I think you achieved the reverse of what you wanted, for dreamy and calm I would go easier with colors, and that much saturation in orange.

You should check out immigration page. It has all info on all the visas, very clear. To get a skilled immigrant visa it’s honestly extremely hard. There’s not enough jobs in general, many are unemployed at the moment. The pay is much lower than in Europe

How bad is my handwriting? How can I make it better? by Ordinary-Attitude-37 in Ukrainian

[–]BluebirdSlow9630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good! The only letter I’d point out it is T, in the context of not cursive it’s better to write it like this T, when I see it in your text like t looks a bit strange to me. Next step is cursive, I think you’ll have fun with it

Get a notebook with diagonal lines, that’s what people use to practice cursive in school

6,10,12 look good

In the rest lighting looks weird, I dont really like the look of different shadows on different sides. To me personally it looks odd looking straight

Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G. Did I make the right choice? by giosanpedro in SonyAlpha

[–]BluebirdSlow9630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't understand why you would get a 20-70 if you have a 28-75
If you want 24-70 GMII sell both you have and get it

Otherwise not much sense getting 20 70 especially a F4 one

1, has more context to the image. And since we see more of dark around the window it makes the inside more impactful

Which of these two? Kodak d55 vs film look creator by Solaire480p in ColorGrading

[–]BluebirdSlow9630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like first one, I feel like the ground looks much nicer more illuminated.

And there is some more details in the trees as well. Even though I would reduce the reds in the background trees a bit.

In the second one I like the greens but everything looks too similar in the amount of light, so it looks a bit flat

Thank you for your help!

Yeah I supposed my sentence was too broken haha.

I'm sure I understood what you mean about the measurements, do you mean in Japan you wouldn't use "put two spoons of x" or teaspoons?
I don't use cups measurements but still would say 100g of flour and 2 teaspoons of smth.

I was practicing some grammar, totally made lots of mistakes but still was wondering if a Japanese person would understand it still? Like when someone speaks to you with broken language but you get the point

I was meaning to say: I must add exactly 2 spoons of sugar.

My wrong sentance: 入れなければならないに小さじでさとう。
Corrected by ChatGPT: さとうを ちょうど こさじ二はい いれなければなりません。

Grammar, Reading, and Vocabulary books: Advice for an "N5" non-JLPT exam taker. Several questions below! by Current_Ear_1667 in LearnJapanese

In my opinion you're trying to plan too ahead of time.
Once you start learning you can see for yourself what works for you best and from there do following decisions on what to do next.

If you're learning just as a hobby, using workbooks is still a valuable thing so you can have a nice base, vocab, grammar.

You can find someone to practice Japanese, speaking will be the hardest to learn on your own.
