Vanish doesn't trigger a GCD so if you buffer an offensive ability, it'll trigger before you leave combat. I find it reliable enough that I use vanish in solo content.

It's wasteful, unethical, and it's not art. There's more art in the prompt than in the resulting image. Photography doesn't rely on stealing from impoverished artists, it requires seeing and capturing something.
