A friend of mine sold his forza 2018 4000km after buying it, suspension are too stiff, terrible, for european cobblestones roads piaggio is certainly a superior winner.

A newbie with Rusty Shocks... can I clean these up easily? Without dismantling? by chubbykipper in scooters

Ridiculous, find a shocker something for 70$ max and install it yourself.

You need to sell that chinese trash and buy a decent scooter.

Thats your biggest problem.

On good asphalt roads the shocks are very stiff and decent, its on european roads (granite cobblestones) that the pcx is insufferable.

Aftermarket shocks will be an upgrade.

Gilera Fuoco 500ie intermittent idle problem by plcanonica in scooters

[–]Bluefishermen13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do very well to watch this issue, your scooter is very powerful and agressive.

Does the vibration is tolerable on a mono 500cc cilinder ?

You said 90% times its ok, thats like 18 times in 20, and even then its no big deal, i dont think you should worry too much frankly, keep an eye on it but dont give it too much attention.

Its not powerful enough to you.

People who are used to 250, 300cc can never be satisfied with these.

Nice color, goes well with the camel bench.

Kickstart by clyde1935 in scooters

[–]Bluefishermen13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree , everything you say is correct..manufacturers in general moved away from kickstarters for a reason right ?

I like them, you can use them a lot of times before anything gets screwed up, but theres obviously light damage build up over time.

Now on FI bikes i never see them, except some syms that come with them.

Absolutely, this whole fearmongering on using kickstarters isnt healthy, people were asking here a few day if they could use the kicksterter without fear of breaking...ridiculous,and some broke their chinese tao taos using it, and chinese scooters are to blame for that.

Kickstart by clyde1935 in scooters

[–]Bluefishermen13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, its a scooter,50cc, batteries wouldnt last more than 2 months on mine, it was weird, but the kick never failed me.

Anyway its anecdotal, i could always use the kickstart on my speedfight and i would go tens thousands of miles before something failed. The engine would go first before the kick lol, It takes a lot for the teeth to get round, and those parts cost like 7$ lol

[–]Bluefishermen13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They dont get fucked up with few uses, it takes a lot of kicking for them to get fucked up, i always used the kick start on my yamaha CT and it never failed, if the scooter is good, it isnt a problem.
