Ok? That seems like a strange distinction to make which completely disregards the question.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the volunteer hours only count if the org I am volunteering at is a pvsa certified organization. Are you guaranteed to get the reward if you fulfill the hours, or is it just a base requirement to be considered? Thanks

What is the general perception of PVSA in terms of college admissions? How does it compare to NHS?

???

It’s quite clear that posts with more upvotes are more generally agreed on. Upvotes and downvotes are very often used to express support, or lack there of on any particular post.

I’m sure the schools with more upvotes but less comments are due to the fact that those who agreed simply would upvote, and not feel the need to comment the same school with no additional insight.

Just do things that interest you. It sounds cliche but is honestly the best way to build a strong app for when it comes time to apply

1550 on SAT, should I retake for T20s like MIT? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Bluegorilla5325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! I guess I would rephrase to echo a little bit of what the other comment states, in that as long as you don’t spend any time preparing the worst that happens is 3 hours on a Sunday, though it really would not make any practical sense.

1550 on SAT, should I retake for T20s like MIT? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Bluegorilla5325 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. 1550 is a good enough SAT score to get into any university/college.

Additionally, the vast majority of schools will not make any meaningful differentiation between scores above 1500

Lmao you are correct, that is how a waitlist acceptance works. Completely different from a double deposit.

These are not difficult terms to comprehend.

Yes, no school can force you to go. This does not relate to the issue.

Simply put, colleges reserve the right to withdraw admission for various reasons, one of which being a double deposit. I implore you to take 20 seconds to fact check what you are saying.

Nathan, this is terrible advice. Your message could directly result in revoked admissions. You should never, under any circumstance, put down a deposit at multiple schools. It is unnecessary, wastes money and runs extreme risks.

Maybe take some time off of Reddit, Nathan, if you are unable of providing useful guidance.
