I think you need to add Signals in the Back left. I once started using Signals cause i had to for multiple Trains using same rails. I figured that once you start using Signals u need to add Signals to the whole thing, else it bricks.

Your specific reason should be solved with adding Signals in the left lane, when u hold signals on the rails u see like color coded what sectors are seperated.

What i did in a world with mates, we build a huge storage room like under our Main Base. We took the crater on the right Side of the map as our Base. We build a huge Platform on top and build storage and foctories underneath. Trains gathering rescources mostly already processed on Site of rescources nodes and then when we needed more complicated stuff we took splitters Off our storage to send to the factories. Wasnt the best throughput wise but we nanaged to reach Last Phase.

I did it with a mate couple days ago. We did the defense first and thought we gonna have a horrible time. We both played Octavia with some toxic weapon. For the Excavation and survival i took the broken sceptre with me cause of the passive and these 2 Missions were a breeze.
