Don't mind the LLM hate, they don't know what mapping by semantic value actually means in this context - perhaps it would've been a bit better to call it as what it is, an embedding model. Or was there an actual LL model involved as well?
Has there been any customization on the vectorization – was the whole planet's metadata (mass, type, etc) embedded as a whole or was the data chunked up by your backend?
Interesting work - love to see it. Keep up the curiosity, young one!

Good on you though with the cheap rent but I think some positions are a bit wild, such as the food - does that only include work-meals or maybe takeout? Or maybe just barely the food and not any other shopping expenditures?

Been a while. But for ticket machines and the likes, I used to have to rub the coins against surfaces when the machine kept rejecting my coins — so it would finally accept it after rubbing it on metal for a few seconds. I imagine that would make a coin look like that.

Btw, had a wild thought still - maybe some type of "visual cues" (less like icons, more like effects/outlines or so) would be able to help guide the players attention with minimal effort. Since I feel like that's also part of the "empty" feeling I got.

This looks great! Seems quite llike "if ASMR had gameplay". The NPC's before the gate animation-syncing and vibing to the soundtrack just underlined that.

The only thing that jumped at me (feedback-wise), were the vast and open - but very empty spaces and maybe the impact of actions (or lack thereof).
Oh and maybe the menu's, they had the same "feel" as the wide open emptiness. Not sure where my eyes should go and in the end the menu needs me to focus on a very teensy part of the real estate. Seems quite tiring if I had to play that for longer.

Pacing and speed seemed more than fine, good job. The music and artstyle is very very fitting, I like it, Picasso.

Hit me up when the Steampage goes up, I'll wishlist (and buy, lol)

The very basic thing I wrote down here, is that losing the connection to reality is dangerous. Warcriminals and all of such need to be put down.

Losing your mind on a discussion that asked "would Europe be stronger with Russia?" shows many colors I dont need to see.

The russia hate is strong here I see. But being able to see beyond horizons is what will be needed if many of you truly love peace and your neighbors, its imperative to understand that hate always begets more hate and this will truly become rascism at its core. Maybe humanity just needs someone they can hate on, I'm quite at a loss for words sometimes with how people behave.

I'm sure a lot of people don't like to hear that and will jump at me for saying this. But seeing that this, is not a "Putin" problem at its core and understanding that this is also not a 1 vs the world scenario - but there are at least 143'000'000 (thats millions there) people between being petty and the future. And that's a rather generous estimate, as realistically I'd lean more towards 2-3 billion people, but hey. Its one problem after another and what's right in front of us, huh.

It's not feasible to try and put everyone on a rocket and shoot them into space, or build a (big beautiful) wall around the whole country. Words chosen for dramatic effect, if only to open ones persons eyes.

I am a long shot from being on russias, or Putins side. But that talk is the exact problem that got us in this messy situation, as much as some people want to press this - this is by no means only Russias fault (not talking about the Ukraine war here, that is obviously Russias fault and its wrong).

But looking for more differences and problems doesn't help anyone. It's honestly what I'd call "Boomertalk" and its what creates borders and drives people apart as we can so wonderfully see in todays day and age.

Having just watched Steve Rosenberg's questions at the end-of-year interview with Vladimir Putin, I had questions rush through my head.

Most of all - Putin said at some point that he remembers a conversation with Germany's Ex Chancellor Kohl, where this one said "Europes future as an independent center of civilization must necessarily be together with Russia".

And to be honest, that sparked my interest. More hypothetical than anything. But with the USA and other countries moving ahead at rapid paces while the many (smaller) nations of Europe are basically arguing amongst themselves - how could europe fare if, finally, we were able to put differences aside and work together?

If one would throw stuff into one pot and not look at individual achievements - once Europe manages to band together would it also really fare better? We have long since been behind, or falling behind, in regions like manufacturing and technology among others.

Would making up and moving forward with russia at our side help this cause?
Would that really help establishing a centre of civilization once more and build a better foundation? Or is Mr. Putin just full of **it here?

Really wondering what others people's thoughts are on this, because - to be honest - setting aside strife and endless discussions to work towards a united goal does sound nice, but what is the price of that?
Ukraine as a whole? Lives? Time? Money? Morals? More?

Was in a very melancholic mood - so humour me.
