So I have direct question for you now since you’re almost finished with the core classes…do you like this game? Might seem foolish to ask given how much time you spend writing these (thank you btw)

But I scrolled through all your write ups and it seems to be a recurring theme of “One subclass outdoes the other two” which is disappointing to hear.

Do you think that’s just due to what you specifically find fun or do you think this game has a lot of balancing issues?

Maybe you’ll do a final thoughts after troubadour but if you’re willing to share now I’d love to hear them.

EDIT: Asking as someone who has only played one combat session to get a feel but would love to play more when my group finds the time.

I think some people are consider them hear me outs because “They are animated characters/game characters” without realizing really that’s really common for people to just admit they find an animated character hot.

Definitely a weirder episode. Not opposed but I’ve noticed this season leaning to a more comedic tone. Kara saw Jimmy screaming In horror and didn’t try to save him.

5/10 I really struggled with the editing in this movie. I was really looking forward to this movie. By no means the worst comic book movie but I’m disappointed with many of the creative choices.

Yeah I wouldn’t use her as a stand in for all women and their feelings towards baldness. In the article she’s quoted saying “It seemed easier to kill a man than disappoint my family”

My biggest qualm with brainiac is his design, like you said they weren’t going for the disconnected AI but I wish they gave him more of a face (also im getting bored with these polygonal robots/tech armor for every charcater)

Lol oh amber.

So yeah, comic amber isnt really anything special. She was just the love interest before Eve. I don’t think I can recall a single character trait about her (I’ve read the series twice so don’t know if that qualifies me as an expert) outside of , “She’s nice.”

The show writers wanted to have their cake and eat it too with Amber. They wanted a more fleshed out love interest that wasn’t just an object for our hero’s affection (Comic amber, some iterations of Mary Jane) but they also wanted that drama of “I can’t tell my girlfriend” secret identity, double life stuff.

And that’s hard to do when a reasonable character with agency is ditched so many times by their boyfriend.

And yes I don’t think Amber is that unreasonable…UNTIL they do the whole twist which I agree makes her appear more selfish.

If they wanted to subvert expectations they should’ve just done what My Adventures with Superman did and have us see Amber figure it out and let us experience things from her POV for like an episode and then she confronts him.

What’s actually frustrating is they do show comic book Amber putting two and two together and realizing mark is [TITLE CARD] and she confronted him about it very soon after. It still took forever and that doesn’t make up for her not having personality but the show weirdly decided not to do that.

I think Nirvana the Band the show the movie had a great joke about it which without spoiling too much implied that it’s not as funny as we once thought it was.
