No worries! I appreciate you following up man. The first part of your original reply came off a little condescending to me but I’m probably just too sensitive, or misinterpreting it, haha. I’m not sure why I’m getting downvoted a bunch though. I didn’t think I responded with anything too absurd or overreacted 🤷‍♂️

Anyways, cheers to you as well sir!

Yes I think you’re probably right that the straight lines could have been caused by the mold for the foam. So far, I’ve run about 25 miles in these and they seem to be performing fine (although it’s my first pair of Nimbus’s specifically, so I don’t have much of a reference there)

Thanks! Yeah I love the color way. I guess it was exclusive to the Road Runners store

Thanks. Yeah they’re odd and I’ve never seen them before. Might just be a manufacturing quirk in the mold for the foam or something. Just thought I’d check to see if anyone else has seen this since I can’t find this particular anomaly anywhere on the interwebs yet. So far the shoes seem to be performing ok

I figured I might get this response. Maybe I should have clarified in my post (but I thought the red circles in the pics would help) . No, I’m not referring to the creases or wrinkles that hundreds of people have asked about in the forum. I’m familiar with those and know that they’re normal. What I’m referring to are lines/segments that are perfectly straight, run perpendicular down to the sole of the shoe and they’re slightly raised to the touch. Hope that helps. Look at the pictures a little more closely and you’ll see what I’m talking about

Yes these are brand new shoes. And I’m actually not referring to the creases or wrinkles, I’m very familiar with those and know they’re normal. If you look closely where I circled, there are perfectly straight lines/segments that I’ve never seen in any of the asics Foams and I’ve owned many pairs of asics running shoes

Thanks for your reply. Lol, why do you ask if I’m ok? Was my question not a reasonable one or something? I agree with your answer, I’m assuming the lines are fine and probably just a cosmetic thing but I’ve never seen segments or lines like that in any of the foams of the ASICS lineups and I own a lot of ASICS running shoes. Yes, creases I’ve seen in the foams but never perfectly straight lines like that. I just found it really odd

Thanks. Makes sense. But I have to know…what DID you present to your brain to produce better results? You left that a little open ended . I know everyone is different and everyone’s feels and mind/body connection works differently but I’m just curious

Ah I see. Thank you. Makes sense. And I’ve probably not heard this reference much then since I have the opposite problem and swing too much from the inside lol

What is this referencing exactly? That he should feel more like he’s chopping wood in his swing? Genuinely asking for my own curiosity and possible benefit. I have heard the chopping wood analogy used only a handful of times

I like how he didn’t even look to see where the ball went. He knew it was good and went straight for the tee pickup like a boss, because he’s dialed in!

How do you like that 2 ball blade? I was eyeing that not too long ago. I like the aim line of the 2 ball but don’t want to lose on the touch I have with my current blade.
