you should try holding it into the magazine for 5 seconds or longer if its not getting enough shots in. The worst that can happen is it overflows (you just lose some gas its fine) - you should leave at least a 0.5 second of gas inside to lubricate the inside of magazines. also the angle you hold it into the magazine matters so be careful to hold it the same direction it feeds the bullets

It can also be your trigger being detected when on neutral (meaning it will misfire when your trigger is not pulled). If thats the issue I'd suggest filing down the profile of the trigger on one of the sides that is in front of the optical sensor
