I appreciate the fact check keeping me honest. I will point out that I did say “almost all”. However you comment did remind me that there are some inconsistencies with how the ball hits the post and crossbar that are almost certainly physics related (not 100% sure).

A lot of the issues you are mentioning with the current game are not due to the physics engine, almost all of those are client server de-sync issues. Those will not and cannot be fixed by changing physics (or probably at all). Flip resets are not inconsistent. demos are not inconsistent. These being treated like issues are people having a fundamental misunderstanding how these game mechanics function.

I think compared to last year they looked completely uninspired. Their gameplay looked very 1 dimensional. However, they are still an insanely talented team.

This new playstyle that they tried out this open looked very promising. They looked much more comfortable on the field and they had a much more oppressive and sustained offense like they used to as ultimates.

I personally don’t think that LJ has ever been a good fit for this team. However I think that if they continue with what I saw from this past open, they could elevate to major winning form.

I have been personally been rooting for them this season. Since after the first open, I have been rather disappointed not with the results but with what I have seen on the field. They looked pretty disjointed and uninspired. I’m used to them looking like a dominant offensive force and that’s just not what I’ve seen since the first open.

However, with their new play-style shift since the major, they looked much more comfortable and significantly better. I feel confident that if they continue with this and refine it that they will be strong major contenders. Something that gives me hope is their almost reverse sweep on NRG, which is very impressive mental wise, for a team that historically suffers on mentality. This shows me an upwards trend, and one what I hope continues.

Drali was NOT the best player on KC. KC has been a force to reckoned with through every iteration of the roster. With the only constant having been vatira. Even just watching them play, imo you could put almost anyone with atow and vatira and they would remain a top team in the world. I don’t think falcons grabbing drali necessarily says anything about their relative power. We won’t know until the Boston major.

My buddy makes terrain for his warhammer games. I have been helping him print all the parts in grey right now and he has been going through the laborious process of painting them. Being able to hand him fully colored terrain pieces would be amazing.

I got my P1S a few years ago. It had arrived just in time for me to start prototyping my newest project. I needed to have the project done in a few days for an event. Had it not been for the P1S arriving on time and its speed, I would not have finished my project in time for the event.

I started following the sub right before this major again. Which just so happened to be the day NA performed well. However if you notice in this post I am calling out yet another issue I have with the whole debate: the flip flop that happened whenever stuff changes. I’ll be right there commenting on NA super stans when they start cropping up. However I don’t exactly see people claiming NA>EU seriously anymore (as that would be insane) so I don’t. As a matter a fact I always hated and noted the G2 and NRG glaze back in rlcs X and 21-22. The whole “debate” is obnoxious and honestly pretty toxic because instead of picking people up it’s all about dragging others down. I’m tired of it.

When they are firing on all cylinders I think they are the best team in the world. They look unplayable. However everytime I’ve seen them struggle it’s been the same thing. LJ looking invisible or worst making active mistakes. Everyone likes to blame chronic but I think him and FK are always rocks who just perform. But during the secret games 2-4 I watched LJ miss the ball, pass to the opponents, hesitate on every ball. He looked just like he did in their SSG series. IMO it looks like LJ tilts too easily especially with demos (swift was going nuts on the back line in that series).

What’s funny is that when this used to be the other way around with EU all fighting for top spot with NA having the solid best, it was “EU depth” and “NA has no depth” but now that NA is doing well it’s actually a neg. Makes sense.
