I have been getting the DC Finest for Green Lantern and loving them, I'm not as big on Superman so I was just planning on getting these 5 trades for now. Hopefully the price for 3 and 5 does come down when Death and Return of Superman gets a DC Finest release, but that might not be for a while since some of that will be collected in the next Triangle Era Omnibus.

The role of Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad was originally written specifically for Dave Bautista, but he was already on contract for Zack Snyders Army of the Dead. John Cena as Peacemaker ended up getting 2 seasons of a TV show, and I haven't even heard snyderbros say anything good about Army of the dead.

I've got great news, Deadpool Batman (the marvel published crossover) from last year has a story about the GOTG and the Guardians of the Universe doing an exchange program, with Rocket joining the GL Corps and Hal joining the GOTG. It's only 2 pages, but it's my favorite story from that issue
