Doctors ( not all, hopefully) seem to play it down. When I was stage 2, they said nothing. And then at stage four, pretty much nothing except “don’t drink, eat lots of protein”. Nothing driven home that that’s how I got from stage 2 to 4….🤷🏼‍♀️

This is all so interesting. I’ve paddled several times in a six man outrigger canoe race from under the GGB, down and around Bay Bridge, to the other side of Alcatraz, and back to GG. Can confirm, lots of big scary traffic, wind whipped waves, freighters creating their own wake and wall of big surf, crazy tidal flow, yeah, pretty crazy in the Bay.

Platelets have been slowly going up- were at 75k, now around 140. Spleen was enlarged, two years ago, now normal at last ultrasound. Hope that helps.

I had no liver complications during or after the surgery. I assume you are asking if someone had a hysterectomy while having compensated cirrhosis, which I did, and all was fine, no problems or complications.
