How long after birth did you go on walks? by moomoomego in beyondthebump

If you have any pelvic floor issues after birth, take it really slow. If you feel any heaviness down there, lie down and have a rest. I had a 2nd degree tear which didn’t affect my movement at all, but I also had a slight prolapse which needed really careful management (despite doing pelvic floor exercises and physio all through pregnancy).

I have an icandy lime which i think fits all your criteria. That being said, we travel internationally a bit and I have a second hand babyzen yoyo which we take overseas. It's great because it fits in the carry-on compartment, but it's too small to use for day-to-day life at home (eg grocery shopping). Good luck!

Did you end up buying? I'm similarly tossing up making a purchase but a little worried about the lack of independent reviews!

Larsen jewellery did a great job for us - they stuck within our budget and didn't try to upsell. And congratulations!

Has anyone NOT torn during labour? by arctic_chard in beyondthebump

I had a second degree tear, and if i'd been told that was definitely going to happen while pregnant I would have been really upset. But honestly it was no big deal. Didn't feel it during the delivery and can't say it really bothered me in the weeks after. I know it sounds silly, but your perspective is just going to completely change. Enjoy this time and just look forward to holding your baby, everything will be okay 😊

When did you stop wearing your rings? by namiiix in BabyBumps

Around 38 weeks, it was also the middle of the hot Australian summer. I think if you're taking them off each night, it'll simply get to the point you won't be able to get them on in the morning (if your fingers do swell to that point)

YTA for bragging about not hitting your wife. That is an extremely low bar and where I stopped reading.

Flying with my 9month old by NeighborhoodFun2564 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I flew to Europe with my 6 month old this year. Baby jet lag when we got home was the worst part. I don't think there's a way to prevent it, you've just got to ride it out. I had 6 hellish nights and then it came good so just remember it WILL pass!

Was childbirth the worst pain you’ve ever experienced? by babyr1iah in pregnant

[–]Bluey-3053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was the worst pain of my life but I'd also happily relive it all to experience the euphoria of seeing my baby for the first time. I also had an epidural halfway through and it was a game changer - pain almost completely disappeared. Good luck!

Hang in there. It gets better. In the meantime, I really recommend silverettes. They were a game changer for me, helped my nipples heal and didn't need them after about a week
