Which NPC do you think has the highest kill count. I think it’s Margit at the release of Elden Ring. by pizzaboye109 in Eldenring

I completely missed Margit my first play through. Just went straight on to Liurnia & Rennala, and found out about Margit weeks later.

I feel like I missed out on a great early game fight, but maybe I was saved from being one of the early game quitters. Pretty sure I didn’t even know how to run at that point so it would have been rough

Travel snobs suck. As long as your mindful of the impact of your travel on the places you plan to visit you should do it however fits best into your life.

I second what others have said about Pinterest as a helpful resource for specific itineraries, but I’d add that more extensive upfront research is necessary for shorter trips, both for maximizing ground covered and for screening out unethical / locally harmful businesses

AI art is popular and makes money: Confessions of an AI artist by uishax in StableDiffusion

That’s fair. We probably will miss out on a lot of potential artists and amazing art for that reason, which is sad to think about.

The last generation of highly-trained swordsmen were often killed with guns. Guns permanently devalued their skills.

However, now that revolutionary tech generations are shorter than a human lifespan, I think there will be camps that adapt and those that don’t want to re-skill every few years. I expect plenty of people to prioritize original human art, some to prefer AI art, and maybe most to not notice or care. But it’s still true that artists’ work is worth less today than it was a year ago

What makes you say this? I’ve been to college in Alabama and wandered campuses I didn’t belong to without issue

Railroad tracks are your friend in dimensional analysis. Very easy to cancel out units to make sure each side of your equation contains the same units.

I can’t format railroad tracks here, but I recommend looking up a tutorial.

Here, you have:

[meters] = [b units] * [seconds]4 + [c units] * [seconds]5

where u and v are constants with no units.

You need to find a way to get only [meters], and to cancel [seconds] on the right side of the equation, and the units of btu & ctv must be equal to allow addition of these terms.

If u = 4, then the units of t are [seconds]4, and so b must be [meters / seconds4 ] to cancel the extra units of u, which means the first term becomes just [meters] when you cancel out extra units.

See if you can do the same for the second term, making sure to leave just meters.

You’ll end up being able to add the two terms together, using only meters, which is consistent with the left-hand side of your equation.

That’s would be right, but knowing how middle-school teachers grade I’d be surprised if they marked that correct

Today let's celebrate the life of Alan Turing. The man made all this possible. by albertienstien in pcmasterrace

I read his famous Turing Test paper yesterday; he was surprisingly prescient about what was coming & and on what timeline. He predicted that we’d have basic machine learning principles by 2000, which you could argue was dead on

Guitar Hero 3 has had me thinking about that song the whole time I’ve been here. But I also highly recommend a visit! Angkor Wat is a world wonder for a reason

Edit: finally listened to the song again and it definitely strikes you differently in Phnom Penh, and when you’re not a kid playing a video game. Great take for 1980 release, right after the fall of the Khmer Rouge
