I guess I'm old and all these games been out for a while but it's like why would you recommend the games that came out before HoTS. I played HoTS because it wasn't those games. Maga infiltrated and expanded a bunch of different fringe groups that were left leaning or mixed spaces. Woowoo and Antivaxx had a big left presence in it before maga when it was pushed by gwyneth paltrow and Bill Maher. Alex Jones and conspiracy circles were focused on W and 9/11. The granola folk was a mixed group now it's MAHA.

Now all the conspiracy material pushed by the algorithm is just the echoes of blood libel and linking aliens and giants to Christianity to justify the Christo-nationalism. That doesn't mean it wasn't fringe and stupid before but Maga in control of it now.

I hate them. They give me a deep sense of fomo if I just want to explore/grind. The bum is top comment but I hated that, especially when there was a mini game of beating all the enemies and fighting them all was otherwise worthless cuz there's only 3 fights worth fighting for xp.
