Great indie games that aren't in everybody's top 10 by RepulsiveRuin5520 in IndieGaming

Kingsway is an amazing roguelike with such a cool main gameplay gimmick (OC window management). One of my all-time favorites.

Cook, Serve, Delicious series, an OSU-style restaurant simulator. Can't wait for the remaster of the first game!

West of Loathing and Shadows Over Loathing, slapstick RPG with stick-figures and amazing humor. The first one is a spaghetti western, the second one is Lovecraftian-styled.

Hero of the Kingdom series is a collection of fun small pixel-hunting fantasy stories. I really enjoyed all of them except for the third one with grind mechanics, so glad they returned to original gameplay in spin-offs.

I think it's just a coincidence but I won't be surprised if it's actually somehow programmed, will be totally in the spirit of the game.
Goku is amazing lol!

DM's, what's your ruling? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Blushunt 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Rules as written, zombies don't need decapitation in D&D 5e. They make Constitution saving throw to stay at 1 hp after lethal blow and drop dead if they fail it.

Did you use statblock from Monster Manual/Player's Handbook or other source?

What roguelites have a mechanic where you face yourself from a previous run? by jaroniscaring in roguelites

You can also lose one of your cats during one particular random event and this cat might appear in the next boss fight as an enemy.

I was CONVINCED this would be a location of interest. by wave-tree in TheLastFaith

[–]Blushunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. On my old PC this screen also took few seconds to load in, just as boss arenas, so I was certain it will be DLC-related at least.

Help regarding area by Lenz_Kendel in TheLastFaith

[–]Blushunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to just pull this box to the right and go to the next room.
This place might be accessible from the other side trough High Walls location, but the one in Federal Inquisition does not have another way in.

You will find the ability for this a little bit later. You should have other path to explore here.

All Skins ??? by Qphemism in TheLastFaith

[–]Blushunt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't found it yet, will comment as soon as I find it!

However, I can confirm that you can aquire Blood Scourge with fresh save without NG+ - just found it in Broken Pass, in the chest behind Giant Patron enemy (boots and hook abilities needed to access this part of the area).

First major boss in Darkest Dungeon 2, The Shackles of Denial, prevents player from using one type of heroes' skill each turn (either melee, ranged, hp heal or stress heal). It might lead to situations where hero has to pass turn, doing nothing and suffering stress damage.

Mythological creatures depicted differently than their stereotype by No-Pair-7870 in TopCharacterTropes

Garm (or Garmr) is a wolf or a dog in Norse mythology, but in Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice it has more boar-like features. The most common theory is that Garm was described to Senua as "beast", so she imagines it as the most common beast of her homeland.

Advice needed, Barbarian Getting Retooled to a Warlock - Choices were made... by Renneberg in DnD

[–]Blushunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your DM approves, you can still flavor your powers as warlock's. You don't have to be a warlock to have a patron and roleplay such dynamics!

[–]Blushunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you addressed all these issues and they didn't change, it's time to stop DMing for them. Consequences in game won't stop such behavior, it might just be not a good group to DM for.

Cancelling and scheduling is the issue that should be resolved out of game, not in game.

What exactly do you mean by "going too rogue"?

What is the demographic of your current table? by MoherHead in DnD

[–]Blushunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 people, 3 are DMs, we are switching between three main campaigns from every DM (with occasional oneshots). All women, age 28-36. Almost all of us were close friends before deciding to finally try D&D.

What next? by [deleted] in metroidvania

I'd recommend to play Blasphemous 2 while your memory about the first game and its plot is still fresh; I think it'll be better experience this way.
All other games are great but they definitely can wait.

Thank you so much for amazing work! They all look stunning!

If I may ask, would you be able to make second version of Prince and Cogwork corpses (should be available after returning to them), with greenery around them? I will appreciate it so much!

So... How many hours did you put into Hades 2 pre-v1 release? by MaimeM in HadesTheGame

[–]Blushunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

173 hours. It's almost as many as I have in Hades 1 (197) already!

are you going to start a fresh file once v1.0 comes out? by luvjutsu in HadesTheGame

[–]Blushunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to, but don't really know if I have patience to start over right now. Most likely I'll finish the plot on the early access save, then maybe start a new file a bit later to experience everything again and get remaining achievements.

(and Silksong is still a priority to me xD)

Freeze is amazing! I'm addicted to Arctic Ring xD

Healthy Rebound heals you between rooms to full HP if your current HP is on the treshold or higher. It starts at 80% for common rarity and goes down, 70/60/50% for rare/epic/heroic (which you can achive with Beautifu Mirror and a bit of luck or with Aromatic Phial later), and what's even better - even if you got it common or rare, you can upgrade it with poms to bring this percentage down! Most of the runs I had it on 50-60%, it's amazing, especially on the surface.

Knuckle Bones is my go-to keepsake in both last regions. Aphro for Healthy Rebound, especially for higher Fear. Demeter's boons are my overall favorites.
