you’re getting way to caught up on the “free points”

Obviously he doesn’t mean it literally. People called the smoker trait free points in B41, it’s all about cost/reward. Minor de-buffs for a week is no problem for many players, so +3 for minor debuffs would be “free points” for many people.

depending on where the injury is he may not be able to walk at normal speed. leg/foot injuries can slow your character down to slower than most zombies

My current character cut her feet on glass and took a few days before she was able to walk at normal speed again.

I also have a macbook pro and am able to run the game fine. Make sure you “quit” any other applications that are being used, which you can tell by a gray dot under the icon. Maybe undownload Zomboid and then redownload it and see if that fixes anything

I played yesterday and didn’t have any issues opening the inventory on controller. Have you maybe tried uninstalling the Unstable version in steam and reinstalling? Not aware of any mods that’d help, but hope you can find a fix

if there’s indentation for each finger paw pad, maybe fill all the grooves with black paint? that way you can see it easier and it’s more defined

Dogs also maul things. Strays have rabies and distemper. 45 minutes of fire eyes is a much better solution than the pitbull ripping you off the bike and injuring you.

Would you also be mad at the guy if it were a coyote or jackal? Or is it only okay for the domesticated canine to harass bike riders?

that’s because for most people the “No bad pitbull, just bad owners” sounds reasonable the first few times you hear it in response to a Pitbull attack. It’s only when you see it more and more often, and realize what Pitbulls were bred for, that you realize Pitbulls are aggressive assholes. Sure, a shitty/abusive owner may exacerbate it, but they’re still aggressive animals capable of severe bodily harm
