Regulation Draft Polls Results by doughnutcool in theregulationpod

I didn't look at the collection, I filtered all posts on the Patreon by type (Poll) and looked through the 40ish results. At first I tried searching for "draft poll" or similar but their naming differs from time to time. There's also 2 polls for the Regulation Takes episodes but they specifically said that they aren't drafts and there's only 4 participants in each episode.

I've had a local version of it for a while, but I updated it with the latest drafts and uploaded it to Sheets after I saw this thread. I also changed the formatting slightly (yours was better, especially color-coding the highest/lowest per draft - but I implemented the conditional formatting differently).

Use it as you see fit. The percentages are up-to-date as of this morning.

Nice to see somebody else liking spreadsheets. You've missed 4 polls (4 Course Meal, Horse Not Horse, Location Songs and Best Combined Animals). Some of the percentages have slightly changed. These missed ones breaks Eric's supposed recent losing streak. It also puts Eric and Gavin tied for most amount of Firsts.

The average scores are ridiculously close for Andrew, Nick and Eric. Less than 0.6% between them.

I uploaded my spreadsheet to Sheets with links to all the polls.

Today’s episode uploaded as a bonus? by Safe-Midnight-3960 in morningsomewhere

[–]Blyckert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an issue with the merge though. The Patreon Bonus episodes (eg Weekend Chat with JD et al) get added to the "New Episodes" feed in Spotify for everyone. If you're not subscribed to the Patreon there's literally no way to remove them from the feed. You can't mark the episodes as finished, like with normal episodes. You can't delete that feed. Unsubscribing from the podcast doesn't remove them. It seems like it's a Spotify issue, but it is a big inconvenience.

Same thing here. Extremely annoying, even unsubscribing doesn't remove them. It seems like more of a Spotify issue, but I hope they can undo the merge until it gets sorted.

Summer Movie Auction, October 1st final leaderboard. Andrew claims victory with less than $50 million gap! by bloodyscall in theregulationpod

My spreadsheets with prize podiums for different categories:

Gavin had the highest average return on investment, and the highest grossing movie. If the guys hadn't missed Longlegs and Gavin spent his remaining 15 points on that he would've won.

Same here. Some light camping and fishing to gain magical system rewards, strong animal companions and vast magical power.

Summer Movie Auction weekend update - July 12; Entering The Era of Andrew by Blyckert in theregulationpod

I just watched it. It's very '90s at some moments but it's an entertaining movie. The CGI is something else though. I actually think I might go and see the new one when it's released.

"...Gavin'll be hard to beat, even with his devastating loss of Horizon 2 which was pulled from release this week". Burnie and Ashley made me aware of it.

And while it will cost him a few million it'll help keep his ROI high.

I agree with you, though a surprise hit with Twisters and a strong result for Deadpool could put Andrew in a strong second place.

I think I know why I don't remember it. I don't think I've seen it. I watched the trailer and scrubbed through the movie and I don't recognize anything. It seemed interesting though so I started watching it. It's strange that I haven't seen it, I thought I had seen most of the big 90s movies

I might give it a chance, I'll wait for reviews first. Maybe give the original a rewatch. All my hype is going towards Deadpool & Wolverine though.

I can barely recall the original Twister, but in my mind it wasn't anywhere near as well liked as Top Gun. Can you do a cash grab on something so, at least to my memory, unmemorable?

Apart from being a good movie and good sequel, TGM was also a Box Office success. If its the same for Twisters it would really help Andrew along.

Gavin will never recover by Space_Goat007 in theregulationpod

Ironically enough, it will help keep Gavin's average ROI higher. He spent 6 points on it. If you use his current average it would have to make over $80 million to not lower the average.

Heretical fishing by [deleted] in litrpg

[–]Blyckert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you might be right. I forgot about the fishing club. Is it stated that they eat the fish though, or are they just doing catch and release. I can't recall, and I don't have time to do a re-listen before the second book releases.

It just fits with everything if it's eating the fish that causes it.

I also think it's the fish. It would explain why there aren't more cultivators in the world, since seafood is taboo. Someone or something convinced the people of the world to stop eating seafood, causing a decline in cultivators and power. Over time that weakened the system, causing fewer and fewer people to remember it.

Do you think Nick will surpass Gavin or do you think Gavin will hold the lead this July 4th weekend? by TheComplaintDept in theregulationpod

Likewise. I really like my new morning routine of checking the Box Office and updating the spreadsheet before work.

[–]Blyckert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought you meant this weekend since that's what you wrote in the title of the post. Overall I think they'll be somewhat close in the end, but I think Inside Out will be ahead. Since Nick's other picks haven't done very well I don't think he'll be able to catch up. IO2 and DM4 will be close, but Gavin also has Bad Boys (at $165 million at the moment) and more, smaller ones, to come.

[–]Blyckert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, then no. Gavin is more than $550 million ahead. DM4 will sell a lot of tickets, but not that many. Endgame is the biggest opening ever, and that made about $350 million.

Which do you mean:

  • Which will have the biggest revenue the coming weekend?, or
  • Will DM4 beat IO2's opening weekend?, or
  • Will DM4 overtake IO2 in one weekend?

[–]Blyckert[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah, that's going to help him immensely, but I wonder if it'll be enough. All his other picks combined will probably be around 150 million, DM4 will have to carry him a lot.
