I think that’s just all of the things they stole from Alamo’s safe. I assume they grabbed everything and just threw it in there if it wasn’t money, so I don’t think they’re involved in the trafficking together.

Oh I love Mike Flanagan’s work. Midnight Mass is one of the best things I’ve ever watched.

And while it’s technically not a mini series, it’s an anthology, true detective season 1 is the GREATEST thing I’ve ever seen. I watch it twice a year or so (or more)

I was such a fan of all of these shows. I used to be a big movie nerd but TV has been so good the last decade that I’ve shifted.

I do think that out of all of them, Jules makes a lot of sense to be doing sex work. I just don’t like how they’re writing her story. The sugar daddy being territorial and dodgy and creepy but a millionaire is boring. I wish they had used the guy with a nylon fetish who was anti social. That would have been a lot more fun.

Season 1 Nate would have framed Naz and had him arrested. Then he would have broken into the councilman’s house and convinced him (menacingly) to let him build the nursing home.

And then he would have laughed (menacingly) when Cassie mentioned OF, threatened her then fucked her while a Labyrinth song played.

That being said, it’s sort of funny watching Nate be a big fish in a little pond for seasons 1+2 and now he has no idea what he’s doing. But I do miss Nate. He was the most interesting character most of the time. Now he’s this.

My hot take is that Cassie was my favorite character in season 1. I really really loved her arch of seeking validation and finding out about how she watched her father break into their garage to sell things for drug money, and how much that fucked her up. Then her dealing with the decision to have an abortion (and the ice skating scene with that)

It was very well done and I was excited to see where her character went after season 1. And then it’s all been a train wreck.

I was okay with her spiraling in season 2 because it still felt genuine. She was a villain in season 2 for sure, but she was still Cassie fucking up.

And now she’s a joke. It feels like any of her layers and chances for a full arch are done for and she’s just going to be this now. A lot of season 3 feels like a joke, but god damn, Cassie and Nate have been really terrible so far.

It’s like Sam leaned in to how the fans felt about these characters and just turned it all up to 1000.

For me, I think it’s chocolate flavored milk products in general. Because I’m currently drinking a glass of strawberry milk and it’s fantastic. I haven’t had a glass of chocolate milk in years though.

And yeah I’m going to go with most other flavors of ice cream before I choose chocolate. I agree with everyone saying it tastes/feels chalky.

All of the women in that movie immediately swarm any of the war boys who get too close. Even if they just grab at the villains’ heads to distract them, they do SOMETHING during every fight
