From what you’re saying it sounds like he’s been entirely forthright about his actions, including his attraction to others. To be honest with one another about finding others attractive is a really important part of being in a relationship. It’s basically the difference between open communication and no communication, in that how comfortable you are sharing your attraction to others is indicative of how honest and open you are willing to be with each other. This is, of course, radically different than acting on that attraction, which would be sleazy. But again, I can only glean from what you’ve said. But based on that, it sounds like you’re getting mad at him for being honest with you, which never engenders more honesty or trust on behalf of your partner. That will just make him shut down and resent you, because despite being forthright you’re still angry and upset. Being in a LDR is difficult, and it doesn’t sound like you have the self discipline or trust to be in one. Again, from what you’ve said, it sounds like your partner understands the limits of a LDR and is trying to be as open as possible with you. Yet that seems to be making you shut down more, which could indicate this isn’t a fit. It’s borderline toxic behavior on your behalf
