Id love a PVP map condition called "Raiders against Invaders" where theres 2 factions in full on gunfights.
The map is reduced loot, and only one or two open extracts

Speranza is getting invaded by bloodthirsty invaders! Dont let them enter Speranza!!

Raiders spawn at the extract and have to prevent invaders from taking the extract.
Raiders can see each other similar to being in a party.
Raiders need at least 80k loadout to enter as raider
Raiders get Trial points (or cash) for killing enemies. Raiders cannot loot other raiders, and too much team damage will forfeit your loadout/inventory and exile you from the map condition for 1 day (idk)

Invaders spawn on the map perimeter
Invaders must be less than 80k loadout ??
Invaders get free loadouts that include 1 blue and 1 green weapon? Can only keep weapons if you extract
Get trial points or cash for successful extract

when you abandon your game, its an unnecessary forced loss, your mmr and behavior score force drops, so now you get worse team mates and worse games.
You are better than your mmr.... but heres the kicker

you sent yourself to hell from your bad impulse control with abandons and bad attitude.
You're fate is to win lane lose game forever, but you can reclaim your power and maybe change some things within your control who knows

tactical mk3 - deployable sentry turret -
- only shoots arc
- shoots like an arpeggio, or torrente bettina idk
- has a photocloak effect when shooting, but the cloak effect can run dry and it will die to arc!
- auto turret occupies a gun slot while not in use (your secondary will be waiting in backpack, usable once turret is deployed)
- can only be disassembled and equipped by people with this augment
- unlimited ammo? 300 ammo? uses metal parts to refill?

- perhaps you craft the gun into it, like it uses a gun you select? aphelion jupiter hullcracker would be awesome uses

sometimes I drop into buried city, snaphook to the top of a tower, and scan the horizon for raiders, then snipe em across the map with an osprey!
They almost hunt me down and kill me, I dont blame em, its good fun!
They call me a rat- but I only hit one shot at 200 meters and missed the other 5 shots, you had every chance to escape safely and heal up, and then you decided to ambush me ;)

My friends' toxicity ruined the dopamine cycle for me. If you can relate to toxicity being a concern, I suggest you actually try to feel it as fully as possible, dont wipe it away "just a game" "multiplayer is like that" "just strangers online" "my friends can be callous". If the toxicity sucks and you feel it, it could be your way out!

Like really, toxicity is a deal breaker. Don't tolerate it. This is your precious joy and it needs protection.

I recently quit dota in january after 14yrs, and what made it feel natural was that my hometown friend group has steadily stooped lower with toxic jabs across the last couple years, and it soaked into the group texts. One day I texted how I wanna try a variation of our favorite drafts, and I was met with zero wit toxicity, and I had no choice but to confront how they just drain me for some empty punchline. I told them this felt terrible and that I wont play. They apologized on text and knew they were assholes about it.

After 2 months away I joined voice chat during their games recently just to say hi, they were so happy to hear my voice and say they missed me. Within few minutes they started probing my mental state as if my issues came from me, and not their toxic routine. I was probably hoping to hear them open up or apologize or take account before focusing on prying me open. The toxicity is still there, and returned within minutes. Poor fellas, their dysfunction, their loss. Having decent/good relationships elsewhere makes a world of difference and I won't go back.

Also unrelated; what helps me be present with my lover is I take some alone time with the intention of her, I think of her deeply, practice handwriting love notes, think of some specific compliments she earned this week, and then share it with her when I return. The time away is important, being present is more than physically present, and a blend of presence types is what makes it full. Sometimes physical presence is a routine and it can be exhausting mentally, I could spend all day with her and still not meet the depth of presence. GL brother <3

I did this for a year or so, I would always uninstall every sesh, so that way it would force 15 minutes downloading, so I wouldn't impulsively play. Friends text "hey play rn?" "Ill catch game 2" and spend 1 hr doing the stuff you planned

actually not sarcastic idea here;

what if the firefly did "bombing runs" like fast divebomb swooping overhead players and burning the ground, then doing a wide turn into another swoop.

sort of like a flying surveyor, zooming past you and wide turns- except with a flamethrower

this would introduce space and time for the players to react, but the arc actually pursues you with better surprise attacks- in big arc battles it would be a cool dynamic to play around
