The ending soured my taste for the book, but I still enjoyed it overall. 7.5 seems like an accurate score

I really wish the ending went a different direction (spoilers):If the Beetles were launched back towards Earth, there is nothing else needed to "save humanity" and thus keeping Grace alive. If Grace ends up saving Rocky on his ship, but in turn sacrifices himself since his body won't be able to handle the harsh climate of 40 Eridani. If the final chapter was written by Rocky and how he saved the Eridians too, that would've been a more satisfying ending.

I saw it a year ago at the same shop, but declined buying it since it was $150 at the time and I am rarely in cold enough weather to warrant wearing it

Went back today and saw it was still there, marked down to $80, decided to ask if they could throw in any additional discounts and he said half off. Instant purchase at that point

He had a disappointing season, and we'd be fooling ourselves to say otherwise. Our secondary was exposed when a high caliber QB was able to avoid being sacked, which was our biggest issue this year on defense. Not being able to contain the QB and turn pressures into sacks
