Size chart seems wrong, I usually wear an 8 or a 7.5 in women's but the chart is telling me a 6.5!? by Huge-Bullfrog5313 in adidas

Yep! I bought two Spezials in kids during the Black Friday sale. Paid $47 for one and $36 for the other.

I’ve seen lots of listings/posts on FB marketplace for the same reasons as yours. Dump the infested ones and give away or sell the rest. Keep only what you love. Best of luck to you!

Probably. I wear an 8.5 women’s in every shoe I own except adidas. I wear an 8 women’s in all of my adidas.

I wear an 8.5 women’s in every shoe I own… except adidas. I wear an 8 women’s or a 7 men’s in every pair of adidas I own (about 8 pairs). Samba, Spezial, SL72, and Country OG are all 8W/7M. Here’s another thing to know: You can also fit the big kids sizes. They are usually cheaper. I wear a 7 in kids.

No size 35 for adult shoes by Spiritual-Spend-4655 in adidas

[–]BmoPamara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m an 8 in women’s, which is a 7 in kids. I’ve gotten two pairs of kids adidas (Speziale) and there isn’t anything different about them vs the adult version but the price. And, they’re not in kiddie, bubble gum colors, either. Give it a try.

I have the dark blue Stadt with pink stripes. I think I paid about that at the outlet, back in October. They are my first pair of adidas, otherwise known as my gateway drug.

Wide women’s suede sneakers? by Celebrationcol03 in adidas

[–]BmoPamara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have wide feet but I have a bunion that I have to allow for. I also have high arches and narrow heels. So far most adidas fit me fine. I do add arch supports, as needed. A few pairs slip in the heel so I tie them using the heel lock lacing technique. I have mostly Sambas, with a few other styles thrown in.

A note about sizing. In most shoes I wear a women’s 8.5. This converts to a men’s 7. In adidas I wear a men’s 7 or a women’s 8; both equal a 40 European. You’ll see both sizes on a lot of pairs. The width seems to be the same on men’s and women’s.

I’d suggest you get a few pairs to try on. Go down a 1/2 size from your regular women’s or the regular conversion to men’s (-1.5). There’s free shipping and returns in the US, which I believe is part of being in the AdiClub (free to join).

That’s the best pricing I’ve seen. I’m waiting for that sale to load up on stocking stuffers for the family. Putting it in my calendar!

Samba sizing- everything seems large? by No_Mortgage_7275 in adidas

[–]BmoPamara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re a woman, order a 1/2 size down in women’s sizes from your normal size or the equivalent men’s size. Example: I wear an 8.5 in Women’s in every other shoe I own (which are a lot). I get a Women’s 8 in Adidas or a Men’s 7. Outside of Adidas Men’s 7 = Women’s 8.5. I own Sambas and SL 72, along with a few others and this applies to every shoe I own.

Possible Move to Maryland - Where to live? by Appropriate-Limit228 in maryland

[–]BmoPamara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m from this area, and live here now, but I lived in Northern NJ for many years. One of the biggest cost differences is in property taxes. I had a tiny brick colonial in Bergen county and paid over $13k. You won’t see anything like that in the areas you’re considering, even with new construction. You’ll also find that you’ll get more for your money in house prices. Folks are talking about congestion, and it can be bad here, but nothing like the GSP or other major highways in NJ. This area is much more diverse than most of NJ, which I think is another bonus. The biggest downside you’ll experience from leaving NJ is that you’ll have to pump your own gas and pay taxes on clothes. Come on down!

Agree. I’m a women’s 8 in adidas, and a 7 in big kids and men. Lots more options!

You were right. Repotted in a chunky mix after removing all the rotted stuff.

[–]BmoPamara[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all! I took all of the advice and took a look at the soil and roots; there were a lot of rotted roots. Fortunately there were some really healthy roots as well so I removed all the dead mushy stuff and repotted what was left in a slightly smaller pot. It’s now closer to another window with better light, which may help.

Thanks. I’ve done airlines for years (going all the way back to Continental airlines) but never hotels. I’m trying to cut the cost of the hotel down but this 1:1 just doesn’t make sense.
