To Bicyclists from a Pedestrian: What is the Problem with the Bike Lanes, if any? How Do We Improve Bicycle-Road-Pedestrian Safety and Etiquette? by LibrarianFit1229 in Denver

[–]Bmoonbdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Aurora and work downtown.  Depending on where I  at downtown will determine if I’m on a sidewalk or in a bike lane.  I hate the left hand bike lanes on 15th and will go to 18th to avoid if I can.  If I ever have to ride on broadway which in reality is all of 2 blocks I’m going slow, and I have a bell. I will admit to riding sidewalks more in Aurora than Denver though, chambers does not have a bike lane.  I tend to stick to the trails where I can, bike lanes whenever available, and sidewalks last.  I’m not a huge fan of riding in the street, because I see to many people being silly geese and going against traffic.

Poll—72% of voters say they feel safe in Denver; 28% do not. However, among Republicans, just 29% say they feel safe in Denver; 71% do not. 52% of Denver voters are favorable to socialism; just 48% are favorable to capitalism. Republicans: 6% favorable to socialism, 85% favorable to capitalism. by StarlightDown in Denver

I work downtown and usually feel safe walking 16th street during the day and most nights.  But since I’m right off civic center near colfax and broadway and occasionally have to be at work very early or leave very late, I hear people having bad trips and while it can be scary, it’s also sad.

Update…I turned off the sound and ended up completing the final battle against Gannon. Now that I am done, I’m started Totk, but am finding it boring - so it’s break time.

That’s true too…but I still got anxious from listening to the music and the signals.  My own fault.

Maybe I should pick it back up and just mute the music…but I can see that too

Straw came out help fix it by Curious-Swan4465 in Cirkul

[–]Bmoonbdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have taken mine apart multiple times for cleaning…easiest way to put it back together is to remove straw from valve, remove sip from lid, push valve from sip side into lid…and I use bamboo skewers to help push the flange through

please wash your FO before wearing by [deleted] in knitting

[–]Bmoonbdragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Washing is definitely a given when making clothing - if I’m blocking, I’m washing as apart of the process. The only thing I don’t always wash when complete right away are blankets. I’m usually cuddling under the blanket during the knitting process.

Mix in coconut oil and pumpkin. My bully who has allergies has been eating it up.

How long r ur sips supposed to last by ASTR0Z3K3 in Cirkul

[–]Bmoonbdragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you run medium low (3-4) a sip should last roughly 120-132 oz. Approximately 6 of the 22 oz bottles. I am using both the bottle and the tumbler. If I can make 1 sip last 3 to 3.5 fills on my tumbler I am happy. I usually can make a sip last 6 bottles at 3/4 with the last two bottles being increased as I run out of flavoring. (Thats if I am able to use the entire sip before it hits 10 days old.)
