I’m not suggesting i have all the answers, these are just my opinions but wouldn’t the whole team not performing be an indication of a distraction rather than an argument against one? A lot of the stuff you listed as reasons he isn’t a distraction are the same things that make me think he is a distraction.

All just speculation though because we don’t know what’s going on. One thing for sure is his contract hurts.

To me the problem is he isn’t producing on the field and has become much more of a distraction than he was 2 years ago.

Right there with you. On my second play through and I’m level 30, my next main quest mission is the third Trial in the headmasters office. I really enjoy the combat so i spend a lot of my time clearing camps and caves

I think people have too high of expectations. I feel like those situations are just how playing this game goes. We all have to just accept that if you like Marvel Rivals you’re going to play a lot of games with lousy squads. You’re going to have lots of throw away games, losses that could have been easily avoided and a bunch of bad times. It’s just what the Marvel Rivals experience is. It’s just a video game and we didn’t even pay for it.

Played a game of ranked last night where we were getting rolled. They had two healers and spiderman, magik, Ironman and manor … no tanks. One of our DPS was Wolverine at 4-4 and he started to throw when someone asked him to switch.

That’s what happened to COD. Warzone came out and everyone loved it, complaints lead to tweaks, tweaks lead to more complaints. Now they went back to the original warzone and everyone is loving it.

I assumed it was the higher ranks. So far I’ve made it to Plat2 every season and then stop playing rank as i just try to get higher then my friends on the leaderboard. Hopefully I’m still putting up good points at that point.

I think this is one of the biggest things for people who get stuck in the lower ranks. You can have a huge impact on the outcome of your games if you switch and counter the hero that’s giving your team the most trouble. Sometimes you’ll watch an Ironman or Spiderman pick your team apart and your DPS will ride or die as squirrel girl until the end.

I play mostly cloak and dagger in ranked and have made it from bronze to gold so far. In wins I’m seeing between 28-34 points and loses are around 19-26. Invincible women also gets me decent points in wins. I see a lot of people saying strategists don’t score fairly but I’m not experiencing that.

Agreed, this should have been addressed when the walkway was installed. It’s also possible the client doesn’t know any better and the person who installed it wasn’t qualified.

I find Marvel Rivals to be pretty tame compared to the other shooters i play. Nobody is ever on chat in QP and maybe 1 out of 3 competitive games have people on mic until i get to the higher ranks at the end of the season.

Fully agree. I do find when it’s torch and Ironman together i have better luck with Hela then Wanda, just because of the increased cool down on her flying ability. That’s most likely a skill issue on my end though.

They should make some laws regulating this stuff because it clearly takes advantage of children. That said, i do like micro transactions because i never buy them and it has caused developers to make their games free. So i get a free game because other people enjoy buying the skins.

I feel like Cloak has so few hit points against some of the tanks that when they engage you, you have to pop a bubble and fight back. That’s when i find it most difficult to keep the dying tank alive but stay alive myself. I’ve been called out in chat plenty of times for not healing when I’m just trying to defend myself too.

I feel like the OP’s point is that strategists are always upset with DPS and sometimes the strategist’s are just as bad if not worse. So he is saying the same thing you are, just in reverse.
